i dont think the epiring contract will work even if he has a good year, i believe hell be healthy also. i think it 51m and 54 m next 2 years he declined the 3m trade bonus
It's not hard to defend Boston with Tatum because they just chuck 3's. It's not like he had cover a lot of ground on defense vs Boston It's a stupid argument.

I’ve always looked at this trade as a positive asset. I wasn’t part of the JB D riding. 😅
I’m not worried about his health because a lot of injuries occur when a player has to be THAT guy and to be fair to Paul George when he was on the Sixers their guy got hurt and he had to carry the load. It’s really hard for a player to stay healthy when they have to do everything. He won’t have this issue with the Celtics. We have a lot of versatile weapons that we can utilize and a lot of very efficient role players that can take some stress off of his back.
I'm still not a fan of this trade, we could have gotten so much more value from this but okay, we can't change it anymore. I totally agree with you, we got cheaper and a little bit better with the cap but we got 10 years older… man this needs to be a al horford like situation, don't play back to back and stuff because the risk of injury is real.
But who knows maybe Brad Stevens is planing something bigger… I mean I would love to trade for Jokic and I would be happy to attach multiple 1st round picks in addition to Paul george.
If we could get a deal like this, we would have a problem with money again, I mean depending if Jokic is going for the max or is willing to take less (because his max would be even higher then JB's max, and yes he is probably better then JB but will also even cost way more then JB if he takes the full max)
the other thing is: we still have a very good team. The team is well balanced in age (most of the players are in between 26-28) and we have some very good and exciting young players like hugo or Jordan.
and we might also need to take a look at the money for those guys and also for Pritchard, who I think will be earning 2x the amount he's earning right now, if not even more.
