1. I sure hope not, and I say that as a Celtics fan. They deserve to regress after how they treated a finals MVP, and trading him to their biggest rival? No way.

2. Celtics are gonna end up probably sneaking in the 5-6 seed at best. The mantra of “live and die by the 3” has done more bad than good in the past 4 years. Every time Boston has the lead at the start of the 2nd half, instead of keeping the foot on the gas, they take it off and get too relaxed.

To complete ignore it and just keep shoving these prize pick ads down our throats feels ungrateful and very sell out to me and clearly lots of other fans of yours. You wouldn’t be in a position to even get the sponsorship without your fans and if you keep acting like our opinion means nothing your gonna loose in the long term. I truly do not see how swapping out a player who refused to play within the system, has been a zero factor on defense for 2 years and outwardly expressed dislike for being a 2nd option for someone who is willing to do/be all those things is anything but an upgrade. That’s not even factoring in the fact that Tatum will be playing an entire season of basketball and they added the best rebounder in the league

22. The whole “they simply swapped out Brown for Tatum so they will stay about the same as last year” thing is completely idiotic. Even if you want to say brown for Tatum is a wash, the conference around them changed so much and many teams are looking to be competitive this season, so you can’t just automatically pencil the Celtics in for the 2 seed just because they got it last year. Also, TATUM IS COMING OFF AN ACHILLES INJURY! I’m not saying he won’t get back to his old self but it might take him some time to really find his groove again

25. The point I keep seeing that really drives me crazy is people saying to suck it up and just skip it or don’t watch if it bothers you that. Why is that the only option, I saw another comment that made the point perfectly. So many people in the us right now don’t like how things are, so are they supposed to just move because they don’t like how things are, or should they fight to make what they love better? I like synthetic sports and I’ve been a fan for years now, so I don’t wanna just stop watching, I want them to be better so I can enjoy them again.

33. 6:53 it depends on how you look at it. I personally think Tatum’s a better player than Brown and he didn’t play until March last year. The addition of Robinson fills a huge gap in our depth and we also add PG. We definitely ‘got better’ from where we were at 1yr ago but we could’ve been so much more if we just didn’t trade Jaylen Brown for 2 pieces of lint
