We might be getting ahead of ourselves, but is rookie Darius Acuff Jr. already the Kings’ No. 1 scoring option? What about the 3-point shooting issue for the Kings?

There's a fine line between overreaction and appropriate reaction. For the Kings to come out so flat and passionless (against the Lakers no less) is extremely troubling. It raises the question whether Doug Christie lost the team last year and is not going to get it back. I hope that is not the case but I'm not seeing them play with the level of intensity (especially on the defensive end) he preaches. Hopefully this was a one off but this team needs to demonstrate it has some grit.
One thing I noticed about Acuff bringing the ball up court is that Cardwell and Sabonis both tried setting screens for him to use as he brought the ball up, and he just ran past them like they didn't exist. I think that is one thing that slowed the pace up court. I could be wrong. I was impressed with his D, not that it was all-star level, but it was better than what I was hearing about him. However, I saw times where he would lose the ball and pretty much walk back on D. DO we need more conditioning drills?
Hey James, love your content, enjoy Locked on Kings. But I will be unsubscribing and no longer watching your Locked on channel due to the gambling ads. Best of luck but I have no interest in that garbage. I hope some day you guys can find a way to make it as a company without having to take ads from these incredibly harmful companies.

saying any kings player will get the whistle is hilarious. they thiink were gona win 23 and that whiistle is gona make sure were damn close !
DA played at Arkansas, not Kansas. I still love listening to your show. Keep up the good work.
The respect the opposing teams give Acuff by pressing him in the backcourt of pretty much every game he’s played so far is very telling. They know he’s the real deal.
