EVERYTHING to Watch For in The Washington Wizards Preseason | The Dirty Bucket Joins

Washington Wizards fans finally get a first look at AJ Dybantsa, Anthony Davis, Trae Young, and a dramatically revamped roster as preseason tips off against the New York Knicks. Can Kyshawn George secure the coveted starting shooting guard spot, or will Bilal Coulibaly or Tre Johnson surprise in the Trae Young backcourt? Ben Strober, Abdullah Ayubi, and guest Sergio from The Dirty Bucket break down the brewing position battles, highlight DeAndre Ayton’s growing role, and question whether the team’s renewed defensive culture is ready for prime time..Key debates include AJ Dybantsa’s off-ball adaptation alongside Trae Young, the team’s expectations for a legitimate defensive leap, and which young bench players—like Bub Carrington and Will Riley—must step up with rotation spots on the line. With the Wizards aiming for a play-in push, who will cement themselves as long-term building blocks under Brian Keefe’s new system?
