41 or 42 if they're healthy
You just mentioned ้ฐ(williams) and ้ฝ (curry)๐,which is impressive; Willams is a entirely new genus that never appeared before in Kerr's team. Can't wait to see whats going to happen in upcoming season.
There are reasons why folks get drafted in place that they do. Dont get me wrong, I like him, but we need to be honest in our assessments. Brandon has a long way to go on defense, he will get spammed in critical situations. How/If he can adapt his defensive IQ will determine if he makes in the NBA or not.
If Kristaps, by a miracle, becomes the Unicorn of old, Jinny Bucket is back at Christmas, Moody's back for the playoffs as his old self, and all the others stay healthy, the Warriors are champions this year. Realistically, without depth and enough athletic size at center, and no more injuries, the Dubs will be the 6th seed with a 45 – 37 regular season record. I see them with a much improved defense thanks to Vogel, with the guards and forwards more productive. However, if Kerr resorts to small ball, and Green in there as a center, or he and Podz getting beaucop minutes, I see the Dubs out of the play-offs and below 500 once again.
When everyone is healthy, Warriors would be a threat. Even the third unit showed that they could compete. I know it's just a preseason, but I think they are on the right mindset even from now, which is a good start. Hope everyone is healthy until seasons end, we dont want to see anymore injuries, that's sad.
Warriors are cooked.
