Sam Presti is the general manager of the Oklahoma City (OKC) Thunder. The mastermind behind OKC being named the NBA’s best front office multiple years in a row, it’s looking like Presti was once again was ahead of the curve…this time with his selections in the 2026 NBA Draft just a few months ago. The OKC Thunder drafted Michigan Wolverine Aday Mara with the 12th overall pick, before trading up one single spot to snag Iowa Hawkeyes sharpshooter Bennett Stirtz. While the pair of rookie selections had an up-and-down performance in the NBA2K Summer League in Las Vegas, they’ve hit the ground at full speed in the NBA preseason. Gabriel Ebersole of Thunder Digest breaks down Aday Mara and Bennett Stirtz in depth, including Aday Mara preseason highlights, Bennett Stirtz preseason highlights, a breakdown of Aday Mara’s perfect 15-for-15 opening from the field, and how the performances of both opens doors leading into the NBA regular season. #okcthunder #oklahomacitythunder #thunderdigest

I've been waiting all day for your video lol Thunder Up!
Cant wait for Chet and Aday to play together. Thunder up! ⚡
If I was the other team and seen Stirtz or Barnhizer out there I would know where to send my team to exploit their weak play. Again Stirtz might eventually be a quality backup guard someday but he has a lot of work to do. People saying Stirtz is at Isaiah Joe's level are nuts, Isaiah Joe could come in and help Thunder close out games but Stirtz so far can come in with a 20 point advantage and blow it, he needs to learn how to wind down the clock.
13:00 I would not be surprised if Mara starts several games during the regular season, sure is exciting to see Chet and Mara out there together, seeing how other teams react to the Thunder twin towers.
Did sorber get any burn?
Don’t forget we haven’t seen Sorber also I think he will be a great 1-2 punch with Mara! THUNDER UP🌩️⚡️
Bro preseason is just live practice for us; we could lose all the games for all I care
I'll be there but I don't watch games. I'll jinx it.
When Sorber gearing up?
Play him against wimbi first game
