Keep cranking these out and I will keep watching. Well done, 👍
Pistons front office has been underwhelming since weeks before last seasons trade deadline and haven't learned a thing.
The idea of Kevin Hunter's been better than the reality of having him on your team for years now,I think Joe can help though OKC barely played him in the playoffs. I like John Collins but if they get into an offensive funk again come playoffs, I rather roll the dice on Tobias surprisingly bailing them out again moreso than anyone else and I have repeatedly said I like Paul Reed,he played here with my Sixers but they didn't even keep him knowing how bad they need adequate center play beyond the oft injured Embiid. I expect Collins to get a lot of minutes as a backup 5
Yeah they missed Tobias Harris in the Cavs series too.
Pistons are fine been overachieving since only winning 14 games in 2023/24 season this is not a fluke this is the real deal go to work grind it out pistons with improving pieces that were drafted the development is blossoming trust the process 😂 Detroit vs Everybody LOBT hunting 26/27
The front office wanted to lean more into developing Ausar and Duren as on-ball players last year but they got wrapped up in all the wins and went away from it.
I think every move points to that happening this year for the first half of the year. Develop Ausar as a secondary playmaker. Then make a move at the deadline for a Kyrie-type for the playoff run.
And no, Tobias was very clearly NOT the 3rd best player during the regular season. The 3 guys who got paid were easily their best 3 players.
I never understood the Tyler Herro to the Pistons talk. The team identity is through their defensive disruption creating efficient transition offensive opportunities. Tyler Herro being such a negative point of attack defender would not work since the Pistons don't have a paint presence to clean up all those free drives into the lane.
The Pistons need to trade Ron Holland for a big men.
You two are a touch too low on the Pistons this season. They improved the shooting, which was their biggest weakness. They have arguably the deepest bench in the East and I wouldn’t be surprised if they lead the league again in stocks and that disruptive defense leads to offense. In the regular season, that style of play will keep them in most games. They didn’t win 60 games out of luck. It was a defense that busted its ass every night. That identity didn’t change at all.
