Preseason Stock Watch: Are The Nuggets Trending Up Or Down?

1. Why are you such a douchebag to your fellow podcasters Swipa? The cool guy charade runs thin, wanker.

2. Matt fails to factor in DDR’s ability to get to FT line and make 86% of them. Has the makings of a great closer along with Jamal.

3. Matt is forgetting that Spencer Jones is an excellent defender

4. This is where Adelman needs to be flexible if they’re a guard scoring heavy team like SGA or Luca you need Alpha in the game and lock them up

5. So even you guys who are supposed to sell me on the Nuggets don't believe they can go to the finals. Why would I watch them then?

6. The standard here for Demar is so crazy man. He’s come in to be a guy to come off the bench. That’s pretty much the only place where pure scorers have been tried and true in affecting winning. We would never have this kind of discussion with THJ who was a genuinely a really bad defender even though they serve effectively the same role. Demar doesn’t bring his shooting but has the ability to get the same points if somewhat less efficiently. I’d argue that just Jamal would be the best playmaker he’s played with, much less jokic so who knows how well he might be able to convert off actions. And if he’s by himself, he can create for himself and others. So realistically, if you had Demar and 4 defensive players around him he is likely the 3rd or 4th best player on the team to work with that kind of lineup.

Anyways, I don’t love demar but the expectations needs to be tempered. He’s a role player, he brings a tremendous amount of offense for someone we only need to help us stay afloat in bench minutes. We underestimate the fact that he’s carried NBA offenses on his back for the past decade, he will be critical in a lot of second quarters.

7. Too hard to go back to the Finals back-to-back?? Before 2020 it happened like 20 years in a row.

8. Nuggets are going to score a lot of points this year, because they are going to allow a LOT of points, early and often.

9. 4 hrs later than never in 46 years a chip at 47 and 3 1/2 years later isn't this year 50 for the nuggets and Indiana?
   Final nuggets 4-2 nug.
Nugget #2 that's nuggs. back to back #3 now that's a let's go nugget. jokic will finish with 4 rings I don't see him wearing one on his thumb though I could see David hiring his dad after this year.
Be engaged back to back don't stop yourself team.

10. Defense, doing your homework?
Jordan at 300 am watching film to find the weakness in other's offense he's defending let's go nuggets.

11. Demar is a great pickup I believe he will help the scoring and I think he will do well with Marvin bagley Brazile looks like he can play now and a good back up pf and can provide lil bit of defense then we have cam whitmore like I feel like we will have more energy then of course Julian strawther will always be a nice pg because of his floater and his shots but he gotta get better defensively but I believe this is our best bench we had in a long time

12. Shoutout to Patrick Beverley, who tried to kill his minor sister for having a boyfriend last year. 👑🔥 Should bring him here on Lock In on the Nuggets too!

13. MATT's MIC LEVEL IS TOO LOW

14. These guys are so off. PACERS?!? Nuggets are getting to the finals. What happens after is up in the air. Our team is DEEP. We got Nikola Jokic, A-A-Ron and BUBBLE CURRY MURRAY. Go Nuggs!!!!
