1. I been telling people about the Hawks. They picked up alot of defenders. They have a solid team. Def a contender in the East

2. I love when the east gets more competitive in the NBA because a lot of the eastern conference teams play tougher hard nosed basketball…which is way more entertaining to watch.

26. Hawks veteran additions – Dort, Wiggins, Finney-Smith,
    Rookie additions – Kingston Flemings and Zuby Ejofor
    Losses – Risacher, Kuminga
    Injuries – Gueye until November or December I think and a season injury to rookie Henri Veesaar

    More playing time for 2nd year player Asa Newell while Gueye is injured.

    With the loss of Risacher who's timeline isn't meeting his contract as number 1 pick and Kuminga who is injury proned and has big question marks I think the Hawks got deeper and put a big emphasis on defense, added a true point guard in Flemings, and got some bruisers in Dort and Ejorfor.

    Biggest game changer will be if Dyson Daniels can shoot a respectable 3 point % to help floor spacing and if they maintain a much stronger presence in the paint against the bigs.

    All in all if all else fails the Hawks have defensive players who they trade at a premium.
