That is why you don't say your willing to sacrifice then win a championship and expect it to be forgotten and if KAT is not happy with $200K he can request a trade to New Orleans or Milwaukee the NBA is a business and the Knicks let big Mitch walk for nothing when in my opinion he deserved to stay for 5 more years at $48 mil!

I love fans are backing the multi billionaire because he doesnât want to put up more money. No one knows what Kat asked for and people already see him as the bad guy. No one takes a discount. And no. Brunson didnât either. He took the max for his years.
Hard to belief he will decline his player option for next year. I doubt a team would overpay for a big man who will be out of his prime when the contract will be over. Knicks may be bidding against themselves.

Trade Towns to Bucks for Turner, Ware and Levert's expiring contract. Will still be in good shape. Maybe Knicks have to put Kolak in the deal because he went to school at Marquette but who cares. Wiseman can still make this team even if you make this trade.
Knicks wont pay Towns more than 200 million and Towns will have to get more then 200 mil/276 max from somebody else.
