  1. Why would ppl want to trade ty to draft a rookie then he has no vet pg to help him out at least with ty they can stay competitive for the next years especially with this new draft odds

  2. I think most people would willingly pay Payton Pritchard $25 million a year and Ty Jerome is at least as good as him. As far as his fit longer term, he shared a back court with Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland and was awesome playing off ball as well as leading the offense. Adding Garland to this team would be a perfect fit

  3. Joe glad to see you got some common sense when it comes to Ty.. I think you can’t pay Ty as a starter. You have to pay him as a six man… Or else you risk him taking away from the development of Ced and Edey because he’s so aggressive as a scorer.. also I don’t believe Ced or Wells are good defenders. I also don’t believe they are dogs.

  4. lol 3yr 75?? I’m all for keeping Jerome unless we can trade him for a valuable first round pick but he isn’t worth that. Let’s be honest Memphis doesn’t get High end talent so we tend to pay players that produce. We did it with bane and paid him as if he was a legit second option when in truth, on any championship team he is a 3rd option. We did it with Santi who in my opinion value meant very little in the physical playoffs. Look what happened when sac offered a similar player all that money (Malik monk) avg below 15 now. Which made more sense since he was around 25 I believe. nembhard doesn’t even make that much who I respect more then any of those players. Has more proven playoff experience, can score the ball, is younger, and ACTUALLY plays defense. Let’s not shoot ourselves in the foot. Offer him a 3yr 60 mil with a team option or a 3yr 48 mil guarantee. He’s valuable…not that valuable. About gg he deserves a sample size chance to start alongside boozer.

  5. If he can play like a Mike Conley type then sure. No need to overpay for the guy. You can argue that Scottie Pippen Jr can easily slot in and stick around for this franchise way longer. It's gonna be about running the offense and not turning the ball over. And Ja was becoming a liability when he couldn't do any of those things consistently.

  6. You have to keep things in perspective, the last three full seasons that NextGen(Ja, Bane, Jaren) played together they won 56, 51, and 48 games respectively and in all three season at some point past the all star break they were the 2nd seed in the western conference. This fool Joe Mullisuck is down right giddy at the notion that this season the Grizzlies might win 30 games and be in the running for the play-in. This is the absolute con game that these clowns who cover the Memphis Grizzlies have been playing with Grizzlies fans the past two years to help justify trading away NextGen. The ONLY reason that both Jaren and Bane were traded was because you had to trade them and pivot to this premature and uncalled for "rebuild" if you were dead set on trading away Ja Morant. The ONLY reason they were dead set on trading away 27 year old superstar Ja Maront was because an incompetent general manager named Zach Kleiman got embarrassed by Ja Morant and his family at some point. The reason why Grizzlies fans will have to suffer through this "rebuild" that could take years is because of the ego and hurt feelings of a bad general manager…….never forget that.

  7. The most starts Ty ever had was last year when he had 15. No one knows how good he is when he's the top of the scouting report. Too much is unproven with him right now.

Ced has to figure out POA because GG >>>>> Jaylen.

GG being a 6 man would be disappointing because it meant he didn't force his way into the starting lineup.
