  1. Do you really think there are 8 teams better than the Heat in the eastern conference? Mmm, if Giannis is in shape, he is top 3 in the league and Bam is a excellent center. You will have space for shooters with Bam and Giannis

  2. Man, You keep "hating" on the Heat, bro. It's a fair analisys, but Hopefully Giannis stays healthy (I believe so, not only because of the work he's put in the pre-season, but because he won't be attacking the Rim like crazy every single time). It's a work in progress, no doubt, But I'd put them anywhere between 3-6. But you ARE right about one thing. NOBODY can discard the Heat in the Playoffs. We've gone to finals with far less.

  3. The Miami Heat is my sleeper pick to go to the NBA finals next yr if everybody is healthy. ES is a top 5 head coach in the league. All they need is a decent PG and more three point shooters about Giannis

  4. Where does this "offensive slog" meme come from? I refuse to believe you've actually watched the Heat. They are playing even faster than last year.

  5. How the hell do you think that Wiggins had a down year? Kinda sounds like you’re just making it up as you go man. Wiggins played perfectly in his role, hitting a career high in 3pt percentage while being a perfect two-way wing. The only thing the Heat lacks is a shot creator type guy in the half-court, which given their pace and Spo’s new offensive system, wouldn’t even be that much of a problem. This team’s gonna be great, and a team that nobody would want to be matched up with

  6. No one talking about the loss of Jaime Jaquez. He had a great bounceback season last year and I think they're really going to miss his creation off the bench

  7. Why do you guys even talk miami heat basketball? Look at all the deep playoff runs they did with jimmy and role players, the entire argument was they dont have a #1 option, no one talked about spacing, now they have a #1 and "spacing" this "spacing" that, do yall know how many shooters miami has? Doesn't seem like it

  8. Love the content but I strongly disagree on a couple of things:

1). The notion that Miami Heat, who were the 11th best shooting team just last season with Herro and Powell both out of lineups consistently, would now struggle from three because they left has always been dumb. They just added two of the best shooters in the league (THJ and Bobby Portis) and then added FUCKING KLAY THOMPSON ON A DOWN YEAR. Oh, and what was his 'down-year', you ask? .383% from 3!!!!! Davion Mitchell shot 39% from 3. Fontecchio shot 37% from 3. Saying/acting like shooting doesnt exist on this team is crazy.

2). You said that the Heat 'BARELY' have enough wing defenders on their roster. What do you mean by 'barely'? Because I can count at least 3 solid to elite wing defenders on this team right now that have locked up all-stars and all NBA players just last season. Let's do a match-up analysis real quick: 76ers vs Heat. Mitchell vs Maxey, Brown vs Wiggins, Giannis Vs James, Embiid vs Bam, and [insert anyone] vs (either Klay or Pelle). Do you not realize that that match-up would be a NIGHTMARE for the sixers? Maxey would not be able to just use his speed to get past DMitch because hes just as fast as him. Wiggins Vs Brown would be a chess match every game in a playoff series. Lebron is too old to defend Giannis and there's nothing that Lebron can do, by himself, to get past Giannis in the half-court. And Bam vs Embiid will be, like its always been, a wash defensively. Even if you bring in bench guys, Pelle can/has guarded Maxey before very well. Bobby Portis has done the same with Embiid. To say that, the Heat barely have enough wing defenders is crazy as well.

3). The scoring in the half court is a legit concern for this team. Cant lie to you. They dont have a really elite off the dribble scorer. But saying that Giannis and Bam are just going to spam screens for each other is just…WOW. Have you not watched this team last season? They ran the LEAST amount of screens for a team in like a decade. And if you watched preseason, you would know that the Heat doubled down on their transition play, using Giannis as a Pseudo-PG ala Magic Johnson (Spo's words not mine). Ive probably seen the Heat run, maybe, 2 or 3 Giannis-Bam actions. They certainly do not use that a lot. They still use the wheel action to create space for Giannis and his drives. This plus my 1st point should tell you that spacing just won't be an issue for this team. Plus Spo is an infinitely better coach than Budenholzer and Doc Rivers. The way hes used Giannis is COMPLETELY different than the way either of them have used. Well, not completely. Just more efficient. Giannis won't be sitting at the top of the key, dribbling into a double to shoot a contested middy.

Anyway, like I said, love the content but i just wanted to correct a few things I thought were false narratives.

  9. Klay is washed and Giannis is always hurt. If by some miracle Giannis is healthy for an entire playoff run, the Heat might be able to do some damage, but when was the last time Giannis was healthy for an entire playoff run? oh yeah, when the Bucks won the title. Since then it's been injury after injury. This is just who he is now.

  10. Genuine question, do you know anything about Andrew Wiggins? He is a great shooter, good to great defender, bro doesn’t know ball

Also, they have some great perimeter defense. Larson, Wiggins, Mitchell and klay on some nights
