Sweet looking shot
The shot kinda reminds me of Durant.
It looks so good when it goes down
Nice looking shot but fact he can’t back down some of these players is a bit concerning. Hope he can bulk up those legs a bit. Great vid as always, Mack !
I dont like fadeaways but obviously its effective at the NBA level. Jordan and Kobe made a living off of it, and with the offensive push off being looked at closer Mobleys version seems to avoid the lush all together.
Now he just needs to be able to fade going to his left. Steve Nash was able to spin and fade off both feet and both directions.
Fadeaway is a right direction for Mob , make it master class
Kenny Atkinson needs to see this
フェイダウェイを打つモブリーはデュラントみたいだ
This is azz. And this is a professional nba player we’re talking about. Let that sink in….
I’m at the 1:35 mark and I have yet to see a simple pump fake. I haven’t seen a simple pivot back to the other shoulder. I haven’t seen a step through. I haven’t seen an up and under. Literally this man has ZERO FOOTWORK WHATSOEVER!!! And this is what we’re gassin??
There’s roughly 9 minutes left and I can almost guarantee with certainty that after he gathers, he’s gonna shoot it without using any of the footwork I just mentioned.
The scouting report is in….
Gather shoot, gather shoot, gather shoot. 1 dimensional. There’s no fake to bite on, there’s no footwork to worry about. Either swipe down once he gets it in his gather pocket or crowd him and contest.
But I’m the crazy one for calling this out and yall see this get so excited. This is something a sophomore in high school should be doing. Next season, he’ll tie his own shoes without the coaching staff and yall will go crazy over that. Yall see the ball go in the basket(of a compilation btw) but don’t see the same pattern that a team can expose. Yall see the bucket, but you don’t see what he’s lacking. SMH
Evan Mobley is azz.
