Let’s Go NYC KNICKS 🏀
I believe KAT would take less but that amount would not be tied to reducing his salary enough to extend Hart and Mc Bride this year or to extend Brunson and OGs next contracts. That’s not his job ! Team friendly deal to stay til he is 36 y/o is ok .
I can’t believe they waved Bruce Brown and kept pacomb like what are they thinking? They had every opportunity to trade him and just didn’t so they could keep brown. I don’t get it.
Kat: 222,000,000 sounds reasonable to me.
The 2nd apron should only apply to signing free agents. It shouldn't apply to keep your own players
I say we ship KAT we basically made him relevant like what Cleveland did for Kevin Love. Like i like KAT on the team but if he won't take a paycut to keep the team together he can go. Maybe he said he'd take a cut like Julius and Carmelo where they didn't take the max but with future contracts he needs a real pay cut. In reality i just dont want us to pay him embiid or ad level where they eat up a large cap with minimal production but high potential down the line.
Pacome team option here we go baby!
Regardless of the salary cap, paying Towns more than 45 million is absurd, no matter what. Towns’s attitude is greedy and harmful to the team’s collective interests.
I think five years $220 million is fair for both parties!😀👍
Just a reminder. Allegedly this years playoff run generated 430 million dollars. The team per this video has a 218 million dollar payroll.
Kat is a VP of the players union. So as a union delegate he isn’t going to take that $200 Mil possibility $235 and I think he will opt to his player option
And we lost Mitch because approb
Pay the man money impress that nonsense
Honestly, I don't hate the 2nd apron either! 😆 There's players who are not even superstars getting superstar level contracts, not gonna say any names, but the flipside of that is, those teams did that to themselves; handing out these huge f'n contracts to role players.. Now, KAT is a superstar! He's a max contract player! Sad to see actual superstars getting affected by this.
