POSTGAME: Phoenix Suns EMBARRASSED By Trail Blazers In Season Opening Loss
The Phoenix Suns couldn’t do anything right in the season opener, as they were embarrassed by the Portland Trail Blazers in a 124-83 loss.
Things got bad early on, as a 21-0 Trail Blazers run to start the game set the tone, and the Suns could never overcome it. They now begin the season 0-1 and have 48 hours to mull over the loss before Saturday’s home opener.

i still believe in book but dame showed how much better of a captain he is. otherwise give portland credit, unreal size and athleticism. They also had a simple game plan that they could mesh in. Suns will need time to gel and get something from the sum of the parts.

These guys are right: Portland's energy is the key. It was the first game of the season, and it was embarrassing. 81 games left. They can bounce back. The first 2 weeks of the season are brutal. OKC, Devner, Spurs, and Rockets. Winnable games against the Warriors and perhaps a revenge game agains the Blazers? I'm optimistic.
