23. I think saying Cavs has no dogged player isn't fair to Donovan Mitchell. Cavs management just made a dumb move from the start with Harden and then extending him. They could have traded for Jaylen Brown, even if that meant Mobley and some of their young 3 and Ds. And then just let Harden walk. I can't see a world where Celtics takes Paul George but not Evan Mobley plus Dean Wade, Keon Ellis and Jason Tyson. They could have even tried to trade Harden and Jarrett Allen for Jaylen Brown. They just made bad decisions to leave Mitchell with the same team plus Peyton Watson. That doesn't move the needle and given the failure last year, the team will be demotivated and perform worse. But thats not on Mitchell. If you told me Id get to play in the NBA for a day, Id be beyond excited. If you mentioned later it was with James Harden, much of my excitement would fade.
