  1. Dyson is so underrated. “Oh he doesn’t shoot 3s”. Boo-Hoo! 😢 The dude is easily one of our best players, last season our best offensive rebounder. This season again our best O-boards, top 3 in the league on-ball defense, and an underrated crafty scorer in the paint. Plays the dunker position to perfection. VERY strong screen setter. People who don’t know ball think Dyson is bad.

  3. I think im more happy for Quinn than anything. To finally have a team with talent that he gets to show his Coaching talent also.

I keep telling folks that Wiggins is going to have a NAW type jump on this Hawks teams because of the role he gets to fullfill on this team.

  6. I have been super excited about this team and they showed why. There is not really one weak link in the starting 5…not one player who is just kind of out there because we don’t have anybody better. I’m most excited about Jalen, NAW, and Dyson…but Okongwu and McCollum are still very solid starters. This is a starting 5 with excellent defense but also has guys who absolutely can score. But I’m also excited about the backups: particularly Wiggins and Dort. We took a starter from the team I believe was the best team in the NBA last season…and he’s coming off our bench! Not because Quinn is crazy, but because he’s not one of the five best players on our team. I had seen some experts who predicted that even if Wiggins was falling out of the rotation in OKC he would be really really good in ATL. Jock and Flemings can at least do what this team needs them to do. I always thought the “experts” who has U.S. as a play-in team were idiots. This is a really really good team.

  7. Dyson should send me a check for motivating him to show why he's a starter. I'm happy that he is playing well. Great job by all and I'm glad Quinn let everyone play because it's a bummer to practice all the time but don't get in the game. So, the starters must blow everybody out so everybody get chance to eat.

( Just kidding but it would be nice)
    Anyhow, let beat the Rockets!

    GO HAWKS!

  10. I will make one criticism (the same as Brad mentioned): they absolutely 100% should not have had the starters out there in the 4th quarter and started to mix in guys like Newell and Ejiofor and DFS. Those guys need to get some minutes so we can see what they can do and so they will have some reps. We also need to get Kispert more minutes so he can nail some threes and make Brad angry. I know how excited he gets when Kispert sees the floor.

Plus, and I am a big Quinn Snyder fan, but to have starters out there up by 30 in the fourth quarter on the front end of a back-to-back is coaching malpractice. It is a literal dereliction of duty. Awful.
