Wild Raptors Return Incoming? – Latest Kawhi Leonard Injury Updates

Raptors fans want Chris Boucher back in Toronto after the Raptors’ 117-94 loss to the Timberwolves, and Kawhi Leonard’s left knee is being tested. Chris Boucher posted one shrug emoji after the game, and Raptors fans flooded his replies asking for a reunion. We look at his Raptors career (a 2019 champion, 7th in franchise history in blocks with 384, G League MVP and Defensive Player of the Year with the Raptors 905), whether he would actually help this roster, and why the Raptors’ hard cap at the first apron blocks a signing right now. Then the date when a Chris Boucher return becomes possible, and the latest on Kawhi Leonard’s left knee swelling before Wednesday’s game against the Orlando Magic. Ben Rogers breaks it all down.

Should the Raptors bring back Chris Boucher? Let us know in the comments.

  1. Kai Sotto , could be the one to replace or add to the raptors, young , 7’3” gained weight and muscles, fast and has high IQ in assists can shoot 3 pts, and good in shot blocking , and rim protection, offensive as in defensive

  2. Man, I remember during the pandemic when Boucher was a total bucket. He just couldn't miss and his shot was like a rainbow, but then something happened and his shot went laser flat and every shot pinged off the back of the net.

  3. Boucher wouldn’t play. Like what are you talking about. Darko didn’t play him last time. If anything. If it’s rebounding you need just put in graves or TJD if Poetle is going to rebound like a 50 year old. Personally I’m so high on Nate bittle. I watched him in college and he is exactly what we need as a back up centre. Can do everything. Rebound, block shots, stretch the floor. But yak has to be better. Plain and simple.

  4. Boucher's not gonna save us or make a difference. People may want to sign that petition out of nostalgia, but it's not what the Raptors need. I'd sooner bring back Ibaka to replace Poeltl.
