  2. I think everybody overall is doing a good job of stepping up, especially Ayo, Jaden, Kuminga, Joan, Clarke etc. I’m not down on LaMelo. He’s still our point guard, but he’s definitely struggling to play defense without filing, but I appreciate the effort. He’s given a child to play defense, but Jaden and Rudy gotta definitely work with him on how to lessen up those fouls because he’s barely playing.

  4. Honesty it’s not Melo’s defense that has been underwhelming. I just don’t expect much from him on that end of the court.
    it’s that anyone who intentionally applies ball pressure on him really seems to throw him off his game. Kinda exactly what Charlotte fans said about him. But hopefully it improves and with Ant coming back in a few months, hopefully we get back to that awesome synergy that those 2 had.

  6. it's such a buzzkill, that first home game was electric. we just have to win the games against lesser opponents until ant gets back. it's obvious we can't compete with the big teams without him.

  7. I actually think that not having Gobert against the Spurs helped the Wolves. Gobert doesn’t neutralize anything Wemby does, plus Wemby LOVES to lurk off of non spacers like Rudy. It’s a bad matchup imo.

  9. The guys have done a pretty good job. Just need to sharpen things up a bit. Less fouling, hitting your free throws, and cutting down on sloppy turnovers.

    Like what I've seen in the absence of Ant so far. Lot's of fight in this group. Would love to see TC pick up a playable PF/C though. We have zero depth their if any of our front court players are out. Lyles has been fine in the smaller line-ups but he can't hold up against the more skilled big men in the league.
