Huge? Feels medium size to me at best…
Smith hurt his hand or wrist in Knicks game last night
Good report. Not a good idea. A GM has got to do something after this embarrassing Potzingis debacle, I don't blame him for the call. However, from what I am seeing were gellin right now, and don't need a one year solution. Don't worry about the $20 mil contract, don't pay it.
smith is 6'10 he is not great defender ,we need 7 feet center who can defend rim and blocks
I mean yeah we should be tryna get whoever we can get at center position for depth. It don't matter we can work it out either way it goes with the player. but we need a center pronto. Before bassey wears himself out this season. Id take Jalen Smith if we can. We need somebody asap. I was thinking Myles Turner but I don't know if he's available like that.
Why would we get Smith if they are not going to trade green. Green is going to keep stealing mins. Smith only will get trash mins in the bay his 3 point shooting n rebounds wouldn't match what he does for other teams. Smith is a starting center or second in rotation for the warriors he will be 3rd to 4th rotation. that's if we even use him every game. He comes here to kill his career playing under steve n green
No, I'd investment more in Bassy.
In my humble opinion Draymond is stealing minutes that should go to Bassey. Bassey played 23 minutes and got 19 points while Draymond averages 3 points a game and is on a rapid decline. I don't know how the contract part works but what if the Warriors keeps Porzingus and let him come off the books next season? Bassey and even Ike can be given a larger role. Kerr just seems to be afraid of Draymond because he needs to just bench Draymond.
Jalen Smith a Center?!?!?! He's 6'8", how does that help us against Jokic? Wemby? Kessler? JJJ?
I would love to expand CB's minutes. However, he has a history of injuries and can't stay on the court.
J.Smith would be a nice addition because of his skill set…but giving up a 1st-round pick for a rental is a bit iffy.
Happy I'm not the one who has to figure this out.
For me only even if the warriors include green with the deal that's favourable for them .
I wanted him a long time ago ๐ฎ
I like Jalen ๐ฎ
If they are asking for a first, forget it. Anyone who thinks is a good idea might as well be GM for the Sacramento Kings. That team is king (no pun intended) stat farmers of the NBA. Trading guys with good stats that doesnt help win championships. The Dubs can probably can get a serviceable center with that first rounder in the 2027 draft if they really wanted a center that will not cost more than Jalen Smith will after this season assuming he has a great season. First draft pick for a rental is ridiculously stupid. Have Horford, Bassey, and Ike already. Just use them. Not waste a first for a guy who will not help the Warriors contend for a championship this year.
Be great to have him, but naaaaaah on the trades suggested.
Keeping young energetic players that have Stef serving experience, like Santos, and massive wing span, slippery cutter and shooter Moses Moody, for someone that can't possibly get to Stef time immediately ain't worth it.
IMO
We need a legit 7 footer 240pounds center to patrol the paint ๐
I would not trade a first. Rebound numbers are inflated when a team is bad and everyone is missing their shots.
He's not worth a first round pick, possibly 2 second round picks. If you're giving up a first go for Naz Reid! Salaries match, easy deal!
I dont get it….why not just use Bassey and save a 1st round pick๐
