Firstly the Heat did this all last season, why are we acting surprised about.
Secondly just because starters are in doesn’t mean they’re playing solely to win, or playing like their usual starting role. Preseason is only preseason because guys aren’t thrown out there to win a game they’re thrown out there to see what they look like in different combinations, see what they look like playing different roles, see what a tweak or change to a defensive coverage looks like, etc.
That all said still pretty impressive G League Heat are massive.
