A life without a Westbrook on your team must be fun

  2. ADPXEROX

“I just came by to say bye to some of you bums who are going to get traded tomorrow.”

  3. pint_of_popov

Russ declining that huddle is such a shitty move that he has to be self aware of. Dude is a bad team player.

  4. Early-Candidate5492

Russ was too passive and unagressive.

He played not to make mistakes compared to how he played the first 2 preseason games he went down hill and attacked the rim. Tonight he just didn’t look to go to the rim considering Gobert and towns was out that was weird.

    Dennis was tooo agressive.

Reaves gotta look for his shot more.

Pat was fine he had a few Westbrook like turnovers to start the game. But i don’t like when he puts the ball on the floor. He needs to be more like Avery Bradley offensively spot up and make quick reads i don’t like when he tries to create.

    Nunn couldn’t buy a shot.

I just keep thinking about the post someone made — if teams wanna tank for Wembanyama then Westbrook’s expiring will greatly help them shed unwanted salary.

  6. paradauxs

Aliens could abduct Westbrook and it wont have any difference on the team

  7. VariousTwo9032

Probably their worst preseason game so far.

They lost 3 quarters to the Wolves without Gobert and KAT.

Not to mention Westbrook looking exactly like last season along with the Beverly incident.

If this season starts 0-2 there is going to be major panic on this team and I sense Westbrook getting traded for those 2 FRP’s sooner than later..

  8. TheGreat1_YesMe

Either trade Russ or bring him off the bench.
Bron and AD were great and that’s always a plus.
Lonnie Walker looked good before going down, hope its nothing serious and he comes healthy soon.
Bron is still our best 3 point guy.
Why didnt Gabriel get more time?
    Bryant was being cooked.
Once again, solve the Russ problem asap so the team can have a chance to do something good this season.

  9. citizensurveillance

Another clown season just like last year coming.

  10. Character_Safety_519

Well that sucked. This game really showed our weaknesses, 3-point shooting and rebounding mainly. Nunn and Dennis were horrific offensively. And what was the deal with Westbrook not going into the huddle? Terrible for team chemistry

  11. Bahamut727

Turnovers lost us this game tonight. Even with the poor shooting and super small ball

  12. kwesi777

Turner and Hield trade just got called into the league!

    *wakes up from fever dream*

  13. Brodie making a strong case for that starting role. 5 pts, 3 TOs 🔥

  14. TheGreat1_YesMe

I hope Coach Ham stays true to his word and gives players minutes and spots on their current body of work instead of their name. Cause rn Russ should not be starting, I’d give Nunn the ok to be the PG for the start of the season.

  15. SnooCupcakes9716

I’m not discouraged by that game even good shooters have bad games hell Buddy and Myles shot terribly today. The season is long there’s going to be plenty of ugly games. They’ll win some and they’ll lose some but if they defend and play with energy I think they’ll put themselves in position to win some games.

  16. colombo1326

Russ doing Russ things what else is new

  17. carlonia

I really liked what I was seeing the last couple of preseason games but I didn’t like this one. Westbrook looked worse, lonnie looked pretty good but got injured man. I feel like we stopped running the offensive sets we were running the other games

  18. ALovelyAnxiety

    welp Lebron is Lebron

    AD is AD

    and WB is WB…

  19. StoneColdAM

Lakers need more bigs, and a Russ trade is the best way to get them. Size hurt us last year. We had AD wasting his time covering someone like Bobby Portis, while the older LeBron had to cover Giannis, and then a guard would cover Middleton. Not good.

  20. LevyShorts

Why are we running lineups with more guards than a Roman fucking Emperor? This is ridiculous. Then Rob goes and signs two more guards!?

  21. lionking25

After these preseason games, it is safe to say Russ need to go ASAP. TB is not serviceable rn and Jones should be played at least 20 mins per game.

This team has potential tho, Lonnie, Nunn, JTA and Gabriel are better than I thought. Our defense still pretty solid. AD and Bron still top 10 player in the league. Just 1 trade away from being a contender. Fuck’em picks, Rob!

  22. Trizzy102

Max christie is years away from being an NBA player

  23. BcoolXpress

Russ is so predictable on offense and a horrible on ball and off ball defender. He’s gonna lose us ball games unless Dunkin’ Darvin has the balls to bench his ass.

  24. Garrukvonsmash

God damn Russ fucking blows. 25 mins of ball watching. Trade this fucking 40 million plus circus.

  25. Let’s be honest, Russ was never a good fit. Bad move from the start (FO/Russ). Dude’s likely upset that he’s limiting his game as opposed to being trusted to play his style somewhere else.

  26. Turdfurg23

Westbrook ran around for 25 min. Man I’m really getting last season flashbacks with the turnovers
