Russ āexaggeratedā an injury so that he could have a less humiliating reason to be moved to the bench role. Now he can say heās coming off the bench because heās still working himself back to 100%. Then when (fingers crossed) he starts performing decent as a bench role they say something along the lines of āweāve got some chemistry working and we donāt want to disrupt thatā.
