Shai Gilgeous-Alexander drops 39 points in Oklahoma City Thunder 2OT loss to the Bucks | Thunder Pod

Rylan Stiles (@Rylan_Stiles on Twitter) dives into the Oklahoma City Thunder falling to the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday in double overtime despite OKC Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander dropping 39 points, Josh Giddey breaks out for the Thunder, and Oklahoma City got a massive game from Aleksej Pokusevski. OKC is still seeing Lu Dort struggle, and what should they do about the rotation? Bricktown bench boss Mark Daigneault is never going to stop coaching, and that is a great thing.

  1. Hey I just wanted to thank you for all the hard work you put into this channel. You make my daily 5 am commute so much better each day. I go to bed so early I don’t get to watch the second half of most games so I really appreciate you recapping the games. I appreciate you uploading the videos overnight. Keep up the hard work and your channel will take off.

  2. Mark deignault is definitely a diamond in the rough! Sam preti has an uncanny ability to find talent before it emerges. I am so impressed with the leadership knowledge and feel for the game from top to bottom in this organisation. Even the players are beyond their years in maturity.

  3. A depressing conclusion but still a great work in progress. But it’s coming along. Citing Josh, Shai, Poku and Tre as really showing. If a vision for the future you can clearly see it. I still a front line of Poku, Chet and Ous to begin (amazingly versatile front line especially after another year of muscle.) And subbing JDub, JRE, Kenny and Baze. Then Shai, Josh, Tre, with any of the three big kids coming in (all still just 20.) And JWill will be a contributor.

We’ll start to see some of the opponents not shooting 40%+ from three and a couple of big wins. Thanks Rylan

  4. Poku is the best center on the team currently. He’s not a true center, but I prefer him at center over JRE. His height and length helps him against opposing bigs while JRE seems to get shot over a lot.

  5. Grayson Allen heading to the coffin corner, and then the ghost of Lu Dort assisting him in the fall. An early Christmas Carroll story…

  6. Felt sad to ruin the SGA game winner, but it felt like a positive sign for the team overall, and we still got to contribute to the Wemby sweepstakes. I liked what I saw from Poku and Tre Mann during regulation even though they both didn't play great in OT. And I felt like second half and OT Giddey was a really good sign after he's struggled most of the season. I wish we got more of Wiggins and Isaiah Joe. And I felt like Muscala played good, his shots just weren't going in

  7. One more thought. Watch JWill closely when he plays. He has amazingly quick reflexes especially on his passes. I won’t be at all surprised if he puts up some huge assist and rebound numbers with the Blue. And even though he looks and seems like an older man he just turned 20. Let’s see if he develops a reliable shot but it’s very cool to see him and Ousmane playing together.
