Really enjoyed the post-game interview last night with Coach. He had some great outtakes from the game, and commended our young players in being the difference.
Listen, many of us wrote him off last season as not being the coach Portland needs. But this season has proven two things:
1. Everyone – from Dame down to Jabari – believe in his system, esp. defensively
2. Substitution patterns are far more agile and efficient than what Terry Stotts implemented
Anyhow, enjoy the interview. Good stuff. Chauncey was happy, loose, relaxed…and it was great to see.

“He was just Olshey’s guy not the best for the job!!!”
Man that was an embarrassing summer for this sub for a multitude of reasons but the overreaction to Chauncey has to have been the most laughable. He’s been doing great, the guys are buying in, he put a good staff around him. He’s just as instrumental to our current success as anyone else on the team.
The Chauncey is gonna be a horrible coach takes based off a throwaway season, three preseason games and simply just the fact that Olshey hired him were so stupid.
“If it wasn’t for Shaedon, I’d have taken him (Jabari) at 7.”
