Luka Doncic in a loss against the Beal and Porzingis-less Wizards: 22 points on 8/21 shooting, 3/9 from the line, 6AST:5TOV, 1 tech (3rd on the season), -6

Luka looked slow today, both on offense and defense. He was failing to finish at the rim and also turning over the ball, while being picked on by the Wizards offense with Porzingis and Beal in street clothes.

Insane usg rate already catching up to him

Like it or not this play style doesn’t equate to winning, Kobe literally has said it as well

Doubt he even gets MVP especially if harden couldn’t doing it

  2. Michael_B_Lopez

    Regression to the mean

    He needs some rest

  3. Sharksgiants

Nasty stat padding attempt at the end there.

  4. NitroXYZ

I can’t believe he played 40 minutes as well in a Mid November game.

  5. RubbleWestbrick

Great player of course but it’s not shocking that his early season efficiency wasn’t sustainable

He’s been a 57-58% TSish guy almost his whole career and wasn’t going to go up magically to 64% with a BIGGER workload

  6. edmarcake

Expect Luka to play bad on teams with losing records.

  7. RonnocFjord

I wouldn’t read too much into this he has to work incredibly hard with his usage and he’s on a back to back after we dogged the hell out of him last night

  8. MSKOnlyScans

Y’all overreacting to 2 bad games in a row the way we overreacted to the hot start lol

  9. Meekie_e

It was bound to happen. Luka had a great start, and now he’s slowing down.

Good guy Luka playing like shit to keep Giannis 1st in the MVP rankings while he’s out!

  11. He was never going to keep shooting 70% from 2.

free throws killed him, dude is clearly exhausted and looked like he was 40 years old this game. get this dude some help

everyone outside of dinwiddie has been absolute ass, hoisting up bricks and getting blown by

  14. 9jajajaj9

On a brighter note for Mavs fans, Dinwiddie balled out today

  15. sleeping_in

If this is him in the best shape….yikes

Fat boy needs a week off 😂😂😂😂

  17. So Giannis isn’t playing and Luka is coming back down to Earth. I wonder what the nba.com MVP ladder is gonna look like soon

Is everyone forgetting he’s in a legal battle for over half a billion with his own mother?? Sometimes there’s bigger things than basketball going on with players. This sub really treats them like commodities.

Team reminds me of Iverson circa 2000 Sixers, mega star surrounded by role players who stand around.

idk guys maybe gassing up PPG totals and averages 7 games into the regular season is a little silly and sets unrealistic expectations. I hear basketball is a hard game and not everyone is gonna be like 86′ Jordan all of a sudden and average 37 ppg on the season. the early season overreactions are fun though i guess, easy to get caught up.

ah yes, i remember when joker would be having MVP games, and every time he had a bad game, or even 2-3 bad games, boom front page from the haters

feels good our big honey laying low and we see these on other players lmao

  22. UnderstandingThis

People get tricked by his high-usage stats.

Really should have ran more plays for Dinwiddie tonight. Felt like every time he drove, it ended up with either a basket or a foul.

I was at the game, and even some of the Wizards fans around me were wondering why he wasn’t getting the ball more.
