  1. Never. Dont be silly. Wiseman has had plenty of time to figure things out. His defense just keeps getting worse. I doubt he could hold his own in NCAA

Move him and some draft capital or 2022 picks for Kelly Olynyk. That guy fits Warriors system perfectly.

  2. Why does Monte talk about boxscore stats. Wiseman is a losing player that fills box scores. Assessing his performance on points, rebounds and blocks is blindingly stupid.

  3. why is everyone trying to treat this wiseman situation with kid gloves? you see, we see it, the stats back it up and your eyes confirm it. anyone that has ever hoop sees it. james is not ready to be a NBA hooper, plain and simple. at this stage of his young career james can barely hang in the g-league. warriors need to swallow this jagged-pill and move on.

  4. I agree he needs to stay there until he starts to dominate consistently. if he can't dominate in the G-League, what can you really do for the warriors? I feel bad for him because he seems to be a good dude. If he does improve, he will make himself a better trade asset as well. He may just need to go to another team that does not have championship aspirations right now. It's a tough situation, but the Warriors can't waste Curry's prime or the last few years of Dray and Klay. I guess we will see how it all plays out by the trade deadline

  5. People forget that James Wiseman was out for a year and a half, and as a rookie, he was in second place for rookie of the year when he got hurt, so Wiseman will be fine.

  6. He needs the reps, I think the G-league goes thru March, wait until the G-league ends and bring him back for the home stretch, he’ll be better for it.

  7. I could get my re-tread news on ESPN, but I'd miss my faux grandparents and their bed-time stories.

  8. Wiseman just looks like he isn’t an NBA player right now. Another team who has time to develop him should take him

  9. I don't see the rush to bring Wiseman back until he's ready to compete at his position. He's like having a rookie that only played a few games in college and a few games in NBA…..give him more time.

  10. What Danny Ainge does building teams is "light years ahead". Jerry West pushing to draft Klay and Dray is "light years ahead". Kerr's system is "light years ahead". Holding onto Wiseman when you could have moved him for Sabonis at the trade deadline last season isn't. Holding onto him so we can continue this conversation until his $12m contract expires next year when this team needs another veteran big isn't. A tanking/rebuilding team will be happy to take a flyer on Wiseman for one more season until his contract expires. And Warriors could use another vet big. In case you have't noticed while the Warriors roster got worse the Celtics upgraded theirs and have several players taking steps forward in their careers.

  11. i've kind of had it with the wiseman watch. looking at him play against those G-league teams, nothing has changed. he still can't screen with force, he's still getting blocked out under the basket, and his hands are still bad. the way the team is playing now, they can't afford to be hoping this dude can pick it up.

  12. In a way, JWs struggles is on the warriors staff. They drafted a guy that doesn’t fit what they wanted him to be. JW is more like KAT. Put him on the hornets and he’s put up 20 10 nightly. And he has the potential to be like embiid defensively but defense wnd physicality weren’t his strengths. They weren’t weaknesses but there was a lot of potential in those areas

  13. He's way to raw to play for the Warriors. He needs a full season of G League Reps. He hasn't played nearly enough live basketball at this level.

  14. I want to let everyone know, in case media, both local or national, doesn’t cover it, but James Wiseman is cared for by Steve Kerr and the Warriors brass. Everyone in organization is rooting for him to succeed. It will definitely be up to him to not overthink everything, but if they help him grow in the areas he needs and he surrenders to that, he’ll be a very serviceable talent for the warriors in the future. I’m still a fan, although I’m not expecting him to be in the grind with the last dance moment that the Warriors are feeling. given the recession that’s about to happen, there’s no way that Joe Lathrop is going to keep this payroll together. There’s gonna be folks getting that hometown discount offer sheet and hopefully Eagles won’t cause this dynasty to evaporate.

  15. Monte you don't know what the hell you're talking about. Remember what you said about Kuminga? Now look at him. Wiseman will be back and playing great because he's the future of this team.

  16. I wish Media people would stop bagging on the Warriors mgmt for moving him to the G league. They rant like Wiseman was being "punished". Really harsh criticism which is stupid and unfair. Just to get attention. Kerr wouldn't have sent him down unless it was for him to get reps and improve! Some YTube channels bag hard on the Kerr like what?? Like do they know what Kerr knows close up about what Wiseman needs??

  17. In James Wiseman rookie season before he got hurt, he was playing well on the offensive end. He needed some work on the defensive end! James Wiseman is a good player, but he needs to be in the right system were he can develop according to his skill set and strengths! I hope he can adjust and excel in the Warriors system with the current players. If a trade needs to be made, we need to make the right move. I think we should pick up a another big on the minimum salary for the 15th roster spot. You have a few bigs who are unsigned, or sitting on the bench with other teams. Maybe a buy out for JaVale Magee, while James Wiseman develops in the G -League, and limited play time with the Warriors as he developed! James Wiseman is a very gifted player! He’s more like a David Robinson or Tim Duncan skill set player! Right now he has been playing nervously and lacking confidence! He has to get the mentality to dominate on both ends of the court. He is naturally gifted on the offensive end of the floor. He is not accustomed to being the fourth of fifth option! It’s a big adjustment for him. He’s trying to figure it out right now; but his spirit is down. He’s never been in a situation were he was not the 1st or 2nd option. He has to learn that his time will come to become more of a offensive treat! Now we need James to be that team player and dominate on the defensive end! He will shine as a good two way player, if he become defensive minded first! James is lacking some of the fundamental on blocking out for rebounds. He also has to become more aggressive and physical on the court without fouling. I believe if he study some film on Dennis Rodman, he will understand how to position himself in the right places on the court. Basketball is 90% above the shoulder! Then James want have any weakness in his skill set and game. He has to take a close look within and make the adjustments. He’s getting paid to do his job. He needs to Focus on Winning and doing what it’s take to help his teammates shine! Strength in Numbers! He has to understand the true meaning! James has to be a strong link in the chain of players! May the will of the Lord be done! Team Stephen Curry MVP! Team Jesus! Phil 4:13

  18. Green at best has 1-2 good years. Will he be worth 40-45 million for years 3-4. Meanwhile, Wiseman may not be ready this year (setback by injury last year). Next year, Wiseman should be sufficiently ready. Years after, he should be completely ready to be one of the four foundational rotational players. And not as costly as Green’s maxed contract for his years 3-4.
