I understand differing opinions and that there’s going to be large deviations from person to person regarding rankings, but Kyrie at 66 is insane.
I get them factoring in the vaccine mandates and the suspension but it seems incredibly low.

I think KD is ranked fairly.
But Kyrie seems really low.
Gobert at 34 looks high considering he gets played off the floor in the playoffs.
Markkanen seems high at 38 considering he has been playing at his current level for 1 year.
Brunson at 51.
Pirzingis at 53.
VanVleet at 58.
And a slew of players from 58-65 (above Kyrie).

Boston boys taking their anger out on Kyrie. Completely destroys their reputation as “objective” basketball writers but Ringer has been filled with hacks for a while now. I used to like their writing but when you realize they look for stats to fill their narrative rather than using stats and eye test to actually assess value to the game, it gets hard to read em consistently.

KD as #5 is fine; I’d rank him higher but all those top 10 dudes could be shuffled a little and I might disagree but not find it outlandish.
But even if I was being extremely harsh on Kyrie’s on court product and was including his absences against him, I still can’t imagine putting him beyond top 40. And that’s me being *harsh*; I’d probably call him top 30 right now.
