Well.. Curry himself said the same thing in the postgame yesterday…

It’s 100% true. They are playing like a .500 team. A .500 team isn’t going to win a championship.

I see nothing wrong. We don’t look like the defending champs right now. We did Saturday for the first time all season but cannot do it consistently and away from home

The warriors primary issue right now is that theyre not good enough for 2 of poole/klay/steph to have bad nights, and still win.
MultiPass21
The Warriors primary issue is they have 1 empty roster spot, 2 guys who can’t crack the rotation (Rollins and Mr. Sandwich) , 1 injured old head, 2 twenty year olds who need reps, 1 backup big relegated to the G-League, and 1 backup big who hasn’t quite found his way despite being in the rotation, and a Core 3 all on the wrong side of thirty.
They’re very top heavy in a league that needs depth to get through the winter.

The main problem is the games they lose they’re scoring less than their opponents.
ragged-robin
it’s depth of course, last year they were winning on nights without curry, klay, and draymond
Not just OPJ & GP2 either. Bjelica and, yes, both Damion Lee and JTA were crucial. Even if they weren’t factors in the playoffs, you **need** this type of depth and competence in the regular season. You can’t expect your stars to go all out all season long with no help and then still be good to go in the playoffs
this year the starters have to dominate every night just to have a chance at winning, let alone securing a win. Kerr is pulling out all the tricks in his bag–heavy pick and roll, 3-guards, 4-guards, draymond at the 5–all of these things were basically reserved for the playoffs last season as trump cards. Now we’re throwing everything and the kitchen sink just to stay at .500. Remember when everyone complained about split action spam, no pick and roll for Curry, why is Bjelica used at the 5 so much, why does Lee get so many minutes…

I don’t think I would
As it stands, the roster beyond the starting 5 (When healthy) is quite generously outclassed by many many other supporting casts in the league
In other words, they aren’t good enough
PonyoEnthusiast
The warriors primary issue is they get outrebounded often
space_beatle
The Warriors primary issue right now is they need more cowbell
Cold_Leather710
Just better teams simple as that
Crackedandimplat
The warriors primary issue is that they win their home games but they lose their away games
nateoak10
The issue is we started 3-7 and have no depth to turn to for in game adjustments because we used 3 roster sport on children in the g league. Meanwhile we don’t even have a 15th man.
