Our rumored asking price has been a replacement starter + value for Collins. This deal doesn’t get us the replacement starter and sticks us with a bad contract that we can’t take instead. If MIA could dump Duncan onto another team and get us something more enticing than Jovic, then the deal could be salvageable.
ETA: Strus is fine but there is still more value needed than a backup grade shooter in the middle of a slump.
