Jaden Ivey dropped a career-high 30 points in the Detroit Pistons’ loss to the Utah jazz. Lauri Markkanen countered Ivey’s 30 with 38 points of his own, as the Pistons were incapable of running the big man off the three-point line. Killian Hayes’ rough shooting streak extended to three games and Isaiah Stewart had his worst game of the year in a blowout loss to the Jazz.

It's not last night. It's 11:38 right now. You lied.
Great podcast. Ku is a great basketball mind. Learned so much from this guy.
If Sadiq used or called for a pick more often he would find himself with more open shots as well as a lane going to the basket
Ivey is already showing us flashes of what he could be, once he puts everything in his game together (the spot up shooting/in-between game/finishing at the rim/drawing fouls)….this is exactly what i wanted to see from him at some point in his rookie season.
LM is a 7foot monster I know Chicago is sick 😅
Sorry Ivey fans..the young man is too shot' happy..at the end of the game..he was ignoring open guys..just to pad his stats…
The most encouraging thing about Ivey's development is that you can clearly see slowly but surely that he is working better in the midrange and trying to mix up his speeds. When he figures that out fully he will be an allstar level player. His playmaking is very good as well.
I feel the exact same way about Saddiq. Also, I don't want to make something up of nothing, but from his body language he does not seem to be too happy ever since being moved to the bench and the rumors about him potentially getting traded.
at least 12 rebs in 5 straight games as a teenager, but dwight was already a sophomore
What sets Ivey apart is he’s a great finisher to the rack.
Question how long should we wait for greatness from Stew and Hayes? They're reserves if ur counting Hayes has a good game once every 3 or 4 games
Stewart is a liability away from the basket and routinely gets toasted around the basket. doesn't have the foot speed to close and back step to control blow byes.
About Bey Weaver is destroying everything he built by not instituting some kind of a motion offense. It's rec ball out there Burks Bogdon and IV shoot at will without even looking for involvement from others I see now why Burks have been moved so much.
Bey is the only player from the 2020 draft that has a pro game has the 3ball face up and back down and is 84% from the FT line with 4 attempts a game, it's a big mistake not allowing him the time to finish developing he went from 25-30 mins a game to 20 and attempts from 18 down to sometimes 9 while Bogdon and Burke avg more attempts and minutes on a losing team.
It's a mess what we're watching what are we? Are we a defensive team an offensive team a 3ball team a attacking team are we big or small? Bags plays well but then sits for 15mins at a time. Last game Bey had 10points on 4/5 shooting then sits all but 8 mins in the second half. I truly feel Weavers plan has failed and now he's trying to figure out how to recover. The lockeroom fights are next along with suspensions and NACDs. Casey has lost the respect of the Vets and rest will fall like dominos
Bro it was obvious Duren was going to be this good…the problem is the nba transition from big men to gaurd play and bigs playing like gaurds…which leaves the paint wide open…the game is slowly adapting back to bigs they just have to rebound and get putbacks/lobs everybody’s numbers are good this year Duren obviously has a grown man’s body he just needed the opportunity!
Rite on Q @Jivey
Stew had a bad game it happens, Bojan was getting cooked per usual by Vanderbilt and LM, Bojan is not KD, Gianni’s or Tatum y’all need to stop expecting him to win us games lmfao, Hayes like I said before he needs to show consistency in this position I expect him to have decent games when the matchups favorable but against teams like this he’s exposed back to the Hayes we’ve been seeing last couple of years.
It’s year 3 for Hayes, Cades injured so he’s getting opportunity but I think this team needs to play though Ivey going forward and they need a coach who doesn’t focus on 3pt shooting as much and knows how to use Ivey get him downhill so he can create, Ivey and Duren can run teams off the floor if we play through them!
