NBACentral: Execs believe Zach LaVine is trying to force his way to LA “LaVine wants to go to the Lakers, that has been pretty clear for a while now. The agents want him to be in Los Angeles, he is a UCLA guy and they did some rattling about his contract last offseason”

Don’t know how to feel about this. AD being injured again right now makes any injury prone player a hard sell.

  2. The same was said for Kyrie. Didn’t happen

  3. Add in Caurso and do it fck it. Don’t think we will be able to land any game changing players in the offseason with our cap space

I mean… how? If he’s on the block, there’s got to be other people who would offer a better package, right? He’s a young dude locked in through his prime. Is RW/2 1sts enough? Maybe throw in swaps in 26 and 28? Is he THAT dude for the Lakers to bet all their chips on? Idk.

Lavine, Caruso and Vuc for Westbrook, Pat bev and a first

Sean doesn’t know shit. That being said, Bulls would need to send the Lakers picks because that contract is fucking disgusting given his major injury concerns.

I dont buy the fit at all with LeBron and AD.

  7. we’re more likely to get DeRozan than lavine i don’t buy it

Lies and speculation he could have gotten max from lakers last year and chose different

Off-season star rumors in December, yeah we are cooked

Why did LaVine go to UCLA and not USC though? UCLA is the clippers of LA CFB

Pelinka could save his ass with this deal. Assume this is for Russ + picks, Lavine can be hidden on defense if Bev is taking the main assignment every night.

Lavine is a legit 3rd option, 38% career 3pt shooter with volume to back it up and would be pretty electric in transition with Lebron. His contract doesn’t work for Chicago but would be fine for the Lakers as he is better than anyone that is realistically available in FA. He is 27 which fits AD’s timeline perfectly and he obviously wants to be here.

Icing on the cake for the Lakers is Caruso gets added to the deal, but either way if Rob can pull this off he would be proven right for declining the Pacers offer. Turner and Hield are role players and none are 2-guards who are as good as Lavine.

Honestly id rather do a Pat Bev Minney deal than go for any stars. Kyle Anderson would be better for this team than Demar. If we talking fit wise Vuc and Caruso would be the best out that team. But Lavine is also injury prone and has nearly stopped attacking the rim he’s also on an awful contract. Demar does nothing to help the need for 3/D wings and he don’t play defense. This team has no time to go thru the figure it out stage etiher.

I don’t really believe it. And his contract is huge, but fuck it I would love it! Always enjoyed watching that guy
