The Nets have answered the challenge of taking on the Eastern Conference best – now beating the Bucks and Cavs in back to back games. It took another full team effort with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving playing their usual critical roles.
This matchup presented longer players in Mobley and Allen along with dynamic play makers in Garland and Mitchell. It ended up tighter than some may have liked but in the end the Nets again showed their ability to adaptable to the opponent and to get out to and early lead to put Cleveland on the back foot.

Honestly I like our team the way it is. If you can add a big man without trading any of our shooters than great, but if not, let’s go to war with what we have. In the playoffs, you can never have enough shooting.
Give em one big man that fast like siakam or ayton so that can have a back up big man.
So that simmons and clax don't get in foul troubles easily they don't need scoring big man, but a good fast and good defender big man just like clax. Kd and kyrie are the main offense of nets plus the help of their deep bench so it's not necessary to get a scoring one but defensive one
It do not matter how you try to push the narrative the Nets need an extra big man knock on wood and something was to happen to Claxton who we got this is a long season we got 48 more games left

We don't need the problem of working in a NEW Big Man. Bigs and Littles will rebound as needed and bomb the score
If anything priority is resigning Kyrie really… he's that good the only guy I'm willing to give any shot next to KD

JV needs to run a few plays for Simmons to score over the next few games. This will help him re-gain that confidence needed to score 15ppg.
Nets are def good but one thing I don’t like is that they’ve won several games during this stretch while shooting over 60%! And most others well over 50% which is unsustainable
This team is getting better and better and better. Let me talk about JV for second. I just love how you can see how he is defining the roles on this roster and that has helped continuity. You basically know KD is going to play the whole first quarter. Mills ain’t playing unless Seth is out, Cam is out of the rotation unless there is an off night. There isn’t a randomness to things.
I think the key factors for this team getting to another level have been Yuta coming back heathy and TJ Warren getting back because you now have two 6”8-6”9 two way guys off the bench that other team must respect on the perimeter. You keeping your length and don’t have to go super small which always kills us.

Adam you make an excellent point about what JV has done to make this a good defensive team despite their lack of bulk on the interior. HOWEVER, this is a bandaide that has the potential to be ripped off come playoff time. The Nets are dead last in Rebounding Adam. Dead last in the league. Rebounding is still a major indicator of winning championships. They need to get to at least the middle of the pack and I’m not sure they do that with the lack of girth inside. They are scrappy for sure but they will need more than that in the playoffs.
I don’t know off hand but I’d be shocked if a team has even won a champion dead last in rebounding.
Adam- you discussed bring in another backup ball handling option. What about bringing back Dinwiddie?
Look at Fanspo only makes 20 million per over next two season. Mavs are kind of middle of the road. Would they be interested to try to cut salary. Mills, Cam Thomas, and Seth make the salaries work. Maybe some second round picks to get it done.

Charles Bassey (6'11") who the Sixers let go because they preferred Montrezl Harrell, is now a 2-way player for the Spurs.

Cavs hole Offensive plays run through Donovan.. Every time Cavs scored it was from steals and random ISo plays from garland… Donovan sets the plays on offense, if Brooklyn didn't have Ben to lock him up.. Donovan would have set the hole team on fire with his playmaking ability.. Garland is more of a shooting guard, he don't make plays for Cavs as a high volume rate like Donovan do..
Jae crowder is on the sun's or last time I remember him playing but I believe he would be a great fit
