To be fair, Gobert has a strong reputation of defending the rim. So opponents tend to avoid attacking the rim too much when he’s on the floor. That’s the main reason his block number is not high.
Kessler is a rookie and opponents want to challenge him. His number of blocks will decrease as soon as he gets the “do not attack the rim when he’s there” kind of reputation.
So yeah blocking number are misleading sometimes.
