I keep saying this. Fred has more value to us than anybody else. He’s the embodiment of our grind-it-out-put-in-the-work culture. He’s leadership is undisputed. I would be doing everything I could to keep him on a deal that honoured his legacy with the team BUT doesn’t come at the cost of keeping our younger players and Pascal. This may not be possible.

His play in 2019 doesn’t excuse the last year, and doesn’t fix the fact that his age/height doesn’t fit well with the timeline/structure of the team. When his 3 is only dropping 33% of the time, and he’s routinely blown by at the point of attack.. something’s gotta change.
