MY biggest takeaways: Murray was truly back this game, not forcing anything just dropping bombs, Nuggets can be top10-5 defense = they have a good shot of doing really good in playoffs, and everybody tries to play like Jokic and I love it
Nuggets have learned how to win games.. didn't let up the whole way through and stepped on the suns neck early. Unlike prior nuggets teams, no heartattack finishes against poor opponents. This is the nuggets squad we envisioned in the off-season, what a fun time!
Murray-Bones has been subject to criticism from me, but it does work well when Murray is aggressive and bones learns when his time with the ball is over. Tonight those two had great synergy together and it fueled a big run that essentially ended the game because Jokic was checking in and we rarely, if ever, lose in Jokic minutes. If the bench is positive, the game is done.
Keep building the championship habits.
That was a basketball game, I think at least. Nuggets played vs something, not sure what it was, but they beat the hell out of it.
This bench group is pretty good, now it will be very hard to put Green in that unit, I think that Cancar and Zeke definitely deserve their minutes.
I think that DJ and Reed are out of that rotation, but for Malone you do not know. Malone can be sometimes very stubborn with his veteran players and he can put again some unit like Hyland, Brown, Reed, Green and DJ which on first glance it is unplayable unit on the flor.

I must say I have not seen MPJ explode to the rim and dunk all season. He had some explosive dunks. And his defense has improved dramatically in recent games.
The Murray ankle tweek sucked. But anytime your up that big late in the game just get the starters out.
