Quarantine MSG.
Knick fans brave enough buy tickets to games should be given a medal of honor for the amount of stress and heartbreak they volunteer to sit through.
I’m also filing a missing person report for one Julius Randle.
fuck it we still above 500
but let’s not kid ourselves, this game was ass cheeks
Petition to change all home games to away games.
Games like today happen so it’s whatever, but makes losses like the mavs/raptors games worse
I’m not gonna lie I felt very confident going into the game so I’m gonna say worst loss of the season.
Considering the games we have coming up we needed this game badly. Very disappointed
Team looks cooked
If Mitch is out an extended period of time this team is toast..asking hart to play starters minutes and they might not win again
Randle played like complete ass yet Obi could not contribute a single point. We desperately needs a bench. The starters are going to collapse by next month.
WE AINT LETTING THE WIZARDS LEAVE TILL THEY GIVE US TAJ
bad loss, but it happens. need to fix the bench asap. need a strong bounce back next game.
Randle and his freethrows are just absolutely insane… how can you trust his shooting if his freethrow shooting is so hit or miss? Come playoff time, I don’t see how he is going to be effective lol
7 for 26(26.9%) 3 point shooting to their 16 for 42(38.1%) is why we lost this game.
Our role players are raw and limited. Until we decide to make the step from development to full on competitiveness, our starters will continue to be overworked and we’ll to fail to be build and maintain leads, or god forbid come back down from a bad 1st half. I’m personally fine with waiting out another year before making a move on a big player, but please let’s get a few more vets or quality players and move on from Rose’s + Fournier’s $32.5 million combined
Story of the game. RJ and Brunson were OK, but not great. Randle was terrible at the start, and finally started taking into the paint in the last 5 or 6 minutes of the game when it was too late. Grimes and Quick were solid, and everyone else was absolute dog shit.
The only reason our offense is rated as well as it has been is because of how good Brunson and Randle had been individually over the course of the season. Their play has masked how bad the offense actually looks when you watch the games. Thibs runs no discernable system and it’s a problem.
Also, i’ve never liked the defensive philosophy of “sell out to protect the paint and hope they miss their threes” because games like tonight happen where they hit their threes and we’re cooked.
Three really bad things for the Knicks, the first is obviously it’s around the league the Knicks don’t protect their home floor, so right off the bat every team coming in even the bad ones are confident they will win at msg, i mean the fucking wizards were 7-16 on the road prior to tonight. Also, the other thing is teams know the Knicks fold down the stretch and that has gotten around the league so teams know if they can hang around this team is going to fold, and lastly in a league where comebacks are prevalent the fact the Knicks are 1-14 when trailing at the half is disgusting
– The Wizards wanted this more than the Knicks did, & it showed.
– Brunson & Barrett were the only Knicks that really showed up.
– Dubious Handle made an unwelcome return. 6/17 from the field, 0/5 from 3. He was bound to cool off after his hot streak.
– Kyle Kuzma looked like a star tonight. 27 despite poor field percentage. He’s very much a volume shooter, and he was hot tonight.
– This fuckin SUCKED. It wasn’t our night. It was theirs. It happens. Next game.
Playoff Randle making an early appearance???
I wouldnt say Randles worst defensive game of the season but God damn the effort was just not there tonight. Game isn’t just on him either. We reverted back to our early season “give up historical amount of 3s” form
Anyone spare a 3 pointer?
Need another team meeting.
We don’t share the ball – 14 assists tonight AS A TEAM. I was saying this when we were winning games, the all-iso/all-the-time shit is not sustainable. We don’t have Kevin Durant. There’s no Giannis here. We need to trust each other and SHARE THE BALL.
What we’re doing right now isn’t going to work over the long haul.
In 44 combined minutes Obi, Jericho, and Deuce managed…two points between them. When Isiah Hartenstein is scoring twice as many as 3 of your bench guys, it’s not hard to see where the problem is.
All-around bad loss. Good games from IQ, RJ, and Brunson (outside of some bad mistakes). Everyone else didn’t provide anything.
Team just looks tired asf, especially Randle…which makes sense given how much their mins have increased. The load the starters are carrying is simply too much. We need to make a move for offensive sparks off the bench ASAP.
On a final note, I’ll remember you all in therapy.
I really think the second unit would benefit from Rose being on the court I know ppl say he is washed but he does a good job making others around him better. IQ has been great of late but he really doesn’t make players around him better or create for others. I know there has been talk about getting a bench scorer but we need is another distributor to unlock Obi and just generate more catch n shoot opportunities
Obi has to start showing a pulse. It looks like he’s playing scared not to mess up. He needs to play his game especially games like this where randle isn’t doing anything.
Probably the worst Randle game of the season. But the bench was also complete ass aside from IQ. Really wished this FO never got rid of Burks
Brunson touched on it during his post game after the raps loss… teams love playing at msg so they put their best foot forward. The only way we are going to keep teams from doing that is by pure talent, and togetherness. The word “toughness” gets thrown around a lot but it’s too easily misunderstood. Toughness isn’t throwing elbows and getting called for offensive fouls or trash talking or yelling “fuck” at the refs whenever you don’t get a call. It’s buckling down during the hard times and showing fearlessness of the big moments that are in front of you.
Decided to take my dad to his first ever basketball game and chose the wizards so he could potentially see a W. Then the Knicks put-up one of the worst shooting performances I’ve ever seen
