It’s a mental game to see if we learned from last year if not continue to get better
I just don't see the Celtics winning
People attribute too much of Tatum's performance on some imaginary mental block, and completely disregard the set of defenders the Warriors have to throw at him. Sure, Wiggins is good, or at least that's the narrative, but he is buttressed by a lengthy back line with Looney and Green. And, if needed, Thompson can take some of that duty.
Tatum is an elite player and scorer, and has consistently maintained a level head in games, aside from arguing with the refs too much at points. The idea that this is some mental shock is ignorant about who and what he is. Not to mention, it is disrespectful to the Warriors defense. And it continues a bad narrative that defense doesn't matter and the only thing that effects offensive performance is mental. Basketball is tangible and the actions and results are as well.
Having consistent health is a main factor for the Boston Celtics this year. If one of our pieces is gone, the opponent has the advantage😢
The Celtics need to figure out how to win with rest. 1-6 with 2 days of rest well in playoffs your gonna get 2 days off in the first and 2nd round

Denver wins by 4 – Memphis wins by 1
Denver was on a 2nd night of a back to back – Memphis was not
Denver just beat the same exact team (Cleveland) by double digits less than two weeks ago and again on the 2nd night of a b2b
Denver has head to head tie breaker against Memphis – holding them to 91 pts… ya know, referring to the “defensive aspect”
So your takes the next morning are not only that Memphis is better than Denver, but you also revoke Denvers 2020 WCF run? That’s just lame.

The East is going to be a gauntlet especially if they have to play the Bucks again. Middleton will be back by then, but yet again the Celtics didn't have TimeLord nor Marcus Smart in that series last year. (They aren't Middleton in terms of talent and importance, but are the defensive anchors of that team)
It's a shame she hasn't gotten a real look in the NBA I really think she has the juice.
