Making the team older and getting a struggling 3 point shooter probably isn’t the direction we should be taking, I just don’t think he moves the needle for us to justify our one trade being for him.

I’m hoping it’s past of a 3 team trade. I’m not sure what Horts’s obsession is with adding aging wing players is all about every deadline
i would hate this. old, doesn’t fix our defensive wing/small ball 4 problem, doesn’t give us another playmaker and he’s not very good at creating his own shot anymore. 12 ppg and his %s are not impressive at all.
we would basically have no assets to make another move and i dont think our team would be much better. i dont get it at all

He is a good short term bet. Bucks have no consistent offense off the bench. Gordon isn’t afraid and is playoff tested. He is still playing solidly. You’re taking him for this playoff run. I’d say that’s a bargain. They can have Hill and Nwora as well if they give Milwaukee Garuba as well

[As a reminder](https://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/nba/bucks/2023/01/09/milwaukee-bucks-in-position-to-trade-before-deadline-but-its-not-easy/69790186007/), as a luxury tax team the Bucks can only add 125% + $100K of OUTGOING salary. So to afford Gordon’s $19.6M this year, you’re looking at moving out some combination of Allen + 2-3 others.
