I always agreed with SAS about the missing work situation; but I used to try to give Kyrie some consideration. That was until he came on a podcast and went on a little narcissistic rant about how he was a martyr for not taking the vaccine. I was like seriously dude; are you serious?! Tim Legler was right; the guy is just a narcissist and takes zero accountability for what he does. The Nets are going to be far better off without him; and I have no sympathy for Mav fans for with what they're going to have start dealing with very soon.

And since these talking heads want to keep talking about the past, starting in 20-21 season, Nets management hired the wrong coach; had Udoka available before going to Boston and had Nets playing defense; traded away what made them attractive to FAs in the first place – cap space, young core and picks, for a guy who showed you what he was in Houston. Then he gets to Brooklyn out of shape and can’t shake back and hammy issues. Then you trade him away and your roster consists of Blake Griffin, Lamarcus Aldridge, struggling Joe Harris, a 7th-8th man in Miles and a few young players to go with KD and Kyrie.
And nobody is talking about management. And when I bought this up in another comment section, these moves were to “appease” KD and Kyrie.
No GM and owner in their right minds would hire a coach little to no coaching experience at all to coach these two superstars and the young talent they had. They also would not allow “players” to tell them what to do.
The great winning teams did not win those rings with players telling management who to put on the roster and who to hire as coach. The only teams that come to mind is the Lebron Cavs 2nd stint (one chip) and the current Lakers with Lebron (one chip). And how has that worked since they let Caruso, KCP, Kuzma, and Thorton-Tucker walk and have to now settle for Westbrook, Beverley, Brown, Jr. Schroeder…… ????

They keep talking about Kyrie and his availability and commitment. How many games did he miss this year? How many of the games that he was allowed to play in last year did he miss? He was a clutch player. Leading the league in 4th quarter scoring. He kept the team afloat when KD got hurt. Thats why he said he did what he was supposed to do. The team did not want to commit to him so he did want to be there. What am I missing.
