I feel that we should emphasize getting extended looks at Gup, Garuba, and TyTy for the remainder of the season. It is probably not an unpopular desire among the fanbase. Especially Gup and Garuba as they're another season in and haven't had consistent playing time to showcase themselves or get into a rhythm. I think Gup perhaps started as not having "earned" the right with the disappointing summer league and start to the season but Garuba based on his energy and hustle should be out there. Gup has multiple wake-up calls and I'm afraid it is inevitable he will shine elsewhere but that doesn't need to happen! They either flame out with consistent PT (we already have one particular player unfortunately in that camp but one that we didn't use a pick on) or they play up their value to be retained or traded for similar value but filling a specific and nuanced need. Darius also deserves a look as we need a non-guard shooter out there to see if more can be unlocked.
