The New York Knicks Have Something Very STRANGE Going On…

The Knicks have blown lead after lead this year and its no coincidence. Their poor defensive commutation stems when they get up big. Here’s a breakdown of that.

  1. I believe the Knicks are exactly what their record shows. They have an all star in Randle and a close to an all star caliber 2nd option in Jalen Brunson. They are currently the 7th seed and honestly that’s perfect considering they don’t have the depth and star power of other top teams.

  2. I think the Knicks blowing leads is an issue, and they need to make some moves if they want to contend. They have the 4th lowest turnover rate, but are 27th in assists. They're missing an elite playmaker who keeps a cool head in the stretch. I think 7th in the East is right around where they belong with their current roster. I think a couple of changes can take them from being a first-round exit to an ECF contender.

  3. I think blown leads are a concern especially because this is nothing new for the Knicks, it shows they’re still dealing with the same problems such as not having a legit closer when it’s crunch time as well as having lapses of concentration when they have to D up. I don’t think they’re better than their record, they are the literal definition of MID which is why they’ve got similar records to other MID teams like the Hawks and Bulls.

  4. Wow it has happened it finally happened dflow has made a Knicks … on ad rn and it’s already a W

  5. I mean I really don’t see the Knicks beating the top seeds in the 1st round but if they are trying to compete with them, this issue has to get fixed. The playoffs atmosphere is way different and blowing leads from the regular season is not a good sign

  6. They need a new coach. they've needed a mark jackson or something along the lines that can develope and contended. Tibs is AWFUL. he doesn't play his players correctly. He wants to play what he wants and not use the tools in front of him. always comes up short because of that. besides the fact his bench unit developement is always poor. It's like how does this dood keep getting jobs??

  7. I love my team, but ultimately… all major league sports are likened to a circus. They fix the league, furthermore; a team with the lineage of the knicks would conduct itself this way (circus). Why? Because it is the riches or 2nd richest team in the top 3 or 5 on the world stage, as it pertains to the value of said team. Because of this, the knick is just a place to hold team. They will always have revenue so they can afford to be mediocre to malad. Knicks can afford to be bad….

  8. The league in general. Teams are giving up leads. It’s the three ball. Tempo and talent. It’s not just the Knicks. Look up the stats

  9. I’m pretty sure the Celtics last year did not have that amazing of a record at this time, had problems holding leads and were not playing up to par defensively. The Knicks seems to have the same problems not saying they’re going to the finals or anything but shows with some tweaks they have a lot of potential.

  10. Knicks need to trade Mitchell Robinson and Derrick Rose to the Phoenix Suns for DeAndre Ayton and also trade Cam Reddish and Evan Fournier to the Minnesota Timberwolves for D'Angelo Russell. Those would be some solid trades for the Knicks to pull before the trade deadline on Thursday.

  11. Thibbs puts to many minutes on his starters. Never gives obi enough minutes and never uses Cam who is good on defense.we lost many games we should have won

  12. The reason is because Thibodaux is a killer of players seems in the last quarter they are out of gas

  13. They've have the wrong star taking the last shot most of the season. Randle is a turn over machine during crunch time. They won last 2 games because they've learned to put it in Brunson's hand. He's been Mr. Clutch. They've struggled because they were not leaving closing of game to Brunson.

  14. This knicks team hasn’t peaked yet. This only jalen Brunsons first year with this group and it’s Will be very interesting to the this group build even more continuity. But even. Right now it’s obvious that it’s trending in the right direction.

  15. Biggest reason for their blown leads is simple. Coach T plays their starters too much. You can tell they are gassed by the end of 3rd quarter.
