The Pistons job is an attractive job. However in about 4-6 weeks when the Draft order is revealed via the Lottery it has the potential to be the most attractive job.
I would suspect that would be be the case if they land a top 3 pick but especially if they land the #1 pick. While adding Wiseman & Re-signing Bogie cut into their cap space they have enough fiscal flexibility to go after almost anyone which is huge for anyone wanting to take a new coaching job.
There isnt a single bad contract on the books and even if there is a deal or two people that feel were too big for a particular player none of those deals are an Albatross that the franchise is stuck with.
You say we need a wing but people have said they want Scoot over Miller. A guy who plays the wing. Plays with or without the ball and shoots the 3pt shot at high efficiency. Plus Miller guards 3 positions. The Pistons should draft a wing and sign a your wing.
You forgot to mention that this franchise has a winning history. We are on the way to producing the next winning group.
The pistons have to be a top coaching spot. They have young guys that are pretty good. They only need mild improvement, and it'll be seen as a big win. Get to 22 wins and that's better than this year already.
The vibes around the rockets were so bad this year. When Eric Gordon says there's no improvement with the team before he bounced, and John wall is airing their dirty laundry, what head coach would want to go into that situation, especially because their front office is telling the coach how to coach.
