  1. I can see making one more move. You've got Tillman and Boucher. Both not really playing. Maybe we move those guys for another guard.

  2. Heist. Remains to be seen. Another quality good player with length and proven scorer traded. After all that Boston needs a shooting guard forward that come off the bench that come in and score. The younger guys lm not confident they can contribute when playoff starts because the game slows down in the playoffs. Pritchard, Hauser and Scheirman needs to score and step up big time. If Tautum doesn't come back they need another scorer now

  3. Good move. We get a guy that adds to the starting Center role with consistency in points and rebounds, low injury risk although 35 and we get under the 1st apron.

  4. Gonna miss Simmons hes fun as hell to watch out there when hes cookin. Dudes a bucket. Vuc brings us some needed depth at the 4/5. Him n Queta are a couple double double guys w different skillsets. Vuc can play the perimeter offensively so theyll prob be able to play some double big lineups depending on matchups.

Garzas been great but I doubt hed of been in the rotation much in the playoffs, simmons too to a lesser extent. Wevalready got one small guard in Pritchard wholl be tough to hide, having another would make things more difficult. Well see what happens. Maybe Brads got another trick or two up his sleeve….I was hoping to land Claxton but Vuc will have to do for now

  5. This was a stupid move. Stop saying bs like it was a heist for the celtics. We gave up a 6th man of the year candidate for a dude that 10 years older, sucks on defense, is not a lob threat and he was averaging the same amount of points per game as simon and you gave up a better second round pick just to save 6 million dollar for the rest of this year. Dumb dumb dumb move brad stevens

  6. Nikola is 35, cant jump, doesnt defend or protect the rim, hes bad in P&R.. It was money saving move that puts us under first apron . Hes cheaper then Simons 7mill or so.. Hes also on expiring contract… Now considering were 2. in east, just making book keeping move might not be popular.

  7. Watch him get even better on the Celtics. Coach Joe has a way of bringing out the best in players. Look at how well we’ve developed other players

  8. A heist is exaggerating big time he plays 0 defense and can disappear a lot. I've watched damn near every one of his games we were glad that he's finally gone. Doesnt look like we got much for him though

  9. As a Celtics fan, I'm pleasantly surprised we keep getting away with deals like these. Not sure how Brad Stevens continues to pull it off, but hats off to him!

  10. If it’s just the two players involved then I hate this trade. But I’ll wait and see what more we do

  11. This is far from a HEIST, as you put it, Simmons can light it up from 3 land and was on his way to 6th man of the year. What we got is good, but he is 35 years old, yes we need a big man, and he will help, but 35 years old, far from a steal.

  12. I'm a bit, just a teeny bit disappointed, though I agree that Vucevic will add some depth to the Celtics front court and he can shoot some threes too. But I hope Queta will retain his starting status. And I think XTillman and C.Boucher plus 1 2nd round pick would have been enough to trade Vucevic but I guess Boston need to flush out some money in order to ease that tax payment.
