Luka can't lead Lakers until LeBron leaves. The dynamic with LeBron there won't allow Luka to be a true leader
We've seen Lukas in recent years. All offense no defense – Steve Nash and Dame Lillard. Steph's defense and effort is nowhere that bad.
🤔This sudden waive of Luka blame feels like a psy-op. It's everywhere, all at once🫤. You don't find that suspicious.
I’m starting to think that Luka will curse the Lakers to have sub par to bad defense as long as he’s on the team.
What’s the question here man. Stay on topic. Can he be the best player on a championship team? Yes! Will he be the leader? nope!
If the Knicks traded Brunson for Luka SAS would be pulling his hair out over Luka's defense and apologizing for shading Nico
What is This dude talking about?
MAVS FANS RIGHT NOW
😂😂😂😂😂
This Luka doesn’t play defense narrative is getting old😂
It’s been well documented that Luka actually is a middle of the pack defender. However he’s the slowest recovery player in the league which gives off the appearance of no defense since he’s so slow
The question isn't can he lead them to finals, the question should be can a Luka lead Lakers team actually win the chip? 💯
HE DOES NOT IMPACT WINNING…. truest thing ever said.. i been saying this for a long time, forget all the numbers he be putting up, it really doesn't help the team.. he needs to learn how to win.
Trade LeBron for a defensive player
Where is LeBron in this whole Blame Game? Last time I checked their was more than one player on the team.
Luka is good enough to get to the finals, but is he good enough to win? I dont think so
Luka needs defensive to help him from other teammates making his effectiveness limited and still needs to BE GONE!
Jay will loves LeBron’s nuts a pop aid for clown
Nico didn't trade Luka. Someone told him to do it. Somehow they got a #1 pick the next year. Whole thing was corrupt
it's very clear that Windhorst must have been one of the idiots that didn't give Steph the FMVP in 2015. Displaying a complete misunderstanding of what Curry does on the court. I would have hoped by now that even these non-basketball playing pundits would have clued up. Look at those Warriors teams and Steph has tended to be a plus team defender. Yes he gets attacked. But listen to the coaches who have schemed against him, and invariably they point out that he is picked on as much to tire him out to deplete his offensive potential as they might do so because he's the weakest defensive link.
Steven and Jay Will got cooked
Luka is 100 times more popular than LeBron and now Klutch gave EPSN their marching orders. LeBron is the problem in LA.
The difference between Luka and A.i and Steph is Luka is 6’7/6’8 weighs over 240 pounds don’t want to play defense while those guys were 6’0/6’2, weigh under 200 pounds, tried to atleast give some effort on defense but because of them being small in the nba people can take advantage of them on defense. They have effort, Luka don’t want to and he rather go talk to the ref mid play than run down the court to play defense
Luka is a Caucasian James Harden with worse athleticism
Overrated
Luka needs a team around him supporting his strengths and make up for his weaknesses… kinda what dallas was going for… but the west is hard… no one has a championship guarantee these days…
Jay will used to make my ears hurt when he speaks but he did not tell 1 lie
Luka is white. He is the best player in the league. The most popular player. Ratings are at a 15-year high, half of ESPN's staff is on Klutch's payroll, and the analysts are black. There, I summed up this take.
No
As a Luka fan, it's getting harder and harder to defend the effort and the constant whining to the refs. Dude just wants to eat offensively, and he's good at eating. It's just harder and harder to defend the guy. He might just be an all time great offensive weapon that never puts it together to win a chip.
Windhorst having another bad basketball take. I don't care much for Steph Curry but he once led the league in steals, so that alone proves that he's not as bad a defensive player.
Luka went to the finals already what are you talking about? Luka does not have the personel to begin with that is why.
