Durant trash talk in Rockets-Suns, Jaylen Brown ELITE for Celtics, Lakers in SHAMBLES | NBA Reaction
Jason reacts to the Tuesday NBA slate, including Kevin Durant and Alperen Sengun leading the Houston Rockets to a win over Dillon Brooks, Devin Booker, and the Phoenix Suns; Jaylen Brown’s continued incredible play leading the Boston Celtics to a win over the Charlotte Hornets; and why JJ Redick, Rob Pelinka, Luka Doncic, LeBron James, Austin Reaves, and the Los Angeles Lakers franchise are in shambles.

i will never understand the jj redick hate for rob pelinkas mistake. the jared vanderbilt interaction last night wasnt anything crazy and now im seeing people say "oh jj isnt the guy, they dont listen to him, they dont respect him" those people arent fucking watching the games. jj redick is like your 97th problem when it comes to the lakers
Reaves?
Let the record reflect this is yr 3 for Jordan Walsh. It’s also yr 3 for Queta in the Boston system not counting his time in sac.
Idk if it’s realistic to expect rookies taken in the 2nd rd to contribute to championship ball yr 1
Who's going to win? Celtics, there's no other reason why. Celtics are the balls
Yee there’s no perfect way to guard Steph. So you can argue high drop wasn’t the way to go. Esp in practice. I think blitzing is the worst option. They tried it in game 5 n got bbq’d. Switching makes sense except Al was a little too old n Rob Williams was playing on 1 leg. All things considered high drop wasn’t a bad way to go
End of the day Celtics held the warriors to a much lower offensive rating than any other playoff opponent.
Their offense was by far their biggest issue
LeBron not playing against OKC was so predictable 🤦🏾♂️
Pelinka got Luka. End of story.
Dalton Knecht is a bust. However, he was the best player available on the board at the time. I can’t blame Pelinka for that one.
The rant at the end was music to my ears 😂😂😂😂😂
Okc is Boston west ** lol
Youngins ain’t been doing it as long as we have !
They started decomposing Phoenix's offense? Listen to yourself man
Legitimate championship contender? Lakers? One eyed take
The lakers never looked like a contender. OKC shut that shit up before Luka even hurt himself.
Jaylen brown was nasty for that. Tatum getting clamped by Wiggins was the main reason they lost. Let’s be honest here he set turnover record
Thanks Jason!
The difference between the Lakers and Celtics reflects the difference between the two cities:
* Los Angeles: Rich and glamorous [Hollywood]
* Boston: Smart and hard working [Harvard]
Putting Luka over Brown on the MVP/All-NBA ballot seems wrong. JB would put Luka on his ass. 😂
Mailbag: my friends were smack talking Shai and muddying the waters around his MVP case. I expressed that he is having a Jordan-esque scoring season in terms of efficiency and every-level scoring, and that it would be highway robbery should he not win it. If he loses this MVP race, will this be viewed as a historic snub in a decade or two? Additionally, do you think this race will be viewed in a similar light as the ‘62 race (or similarly stacked MVP race seasons)? Love the show!
Mailbag: Do you think shortening the season would make it harder for guys to get those all time total achievements or make it more accessible with less wear and tear ?
The Lakers have NEVER been a draft-and-develop type franchise. They always thrived on being gifted superstars by dumb teams and on Free Agents wanting to live where it’s sunny with palm beaches.
With this new CBA essentially killing the value of Free Agency, the Lakers have been left with only one last avenue of getting talent, and that’s waiting and hoping dumb teams and GMs give them good players. It worked with Luka, but it’s going to be hard relying on getting much else this way.
This new CBA essentially demands that teams strengthen their scouting and internal development teams if they want any chance of competing long term, and any who don’t fall by the wayside
Don’t know why ESPN didn’t pick Jason Timpf as an analyst!?? Dumb
U are spot on about the Rockets. U need to be on national tv.
Mailbag: How concerned are you about the Timberwolves for the upcoming playoffs? It’s been an up and down but mostly down year it feels like for them. Do you think they can make it three straight WCF appearances or do you think they’ll fall earlier?
Tell us how you really feel about the Lakers Jason 😂
Jason, please talk to the NBA for next season. I missed Warrior basketball yesterday because it was on some channel. The games are like on one thousand different networks. So far I have subscribed to about 4 of them. The problem is the network carries two NBA games and their other programs are not on my interest. It’s hard to find these games.
Mailbag: hey Jason, just a little side comment before my question, so proud of you and what the show has become. Getting Derrick White on just proves how much work you’ve put in and I’m just so happy to see that for you and I can’t wait to see where you take the channel from here.
My question is about Tatum & Brown as a duo. Obviously I think we can all agree they’re the best current duo but where do you see them as an all time duo going forward? We’re looking at 2 of the best 2-way players on the entire league on the same roster. With Brown’s growth they now have 2 players when healthy that are both looking like top 10 players in the league and they still have long futures with each other. Where do you think these 2 could make it in terms of a duo all time?
