He let Brunson do no pick & rolls w/Kat . Kat cooks the hawks cuz they have no real center & we didn't exploit that. J.B. should've been facilitating, like the last regular season game where we beat them w/multiple pick & rolls. They brought in KAT(50+ mllion) to be an offensive juggernaut. Coaches should be loosing sleep each night on how to stop KAT. IT should be "We cant stop him we only hope to contain him". I used to blame Kat 100% of the time for what seemed like "his" struggles. In the 2nd 1/2 of the season I realized that the Knicks do not support him. I felt like they probably don't like him. They don't put him in a position to be successful. He heard the chatter and stopped pouting and just kept rebounding……….. and they still don't cater to him. So I mostly blames the coach and the team. I'm sorry but Jalen as great as he is, I don't expect them to be a better defender, but what I do expect is for him to improve this playmaking. How do you have another All-Star on a team that really gets the ball when he has an advantage? Even if he can't back people down properly, they just never support him and put them in a great position to win. He's basically successful now off of making the most out of picking up the scraps.
