INSTANT REACTION: Jayson Tatum and Sam Hauser put on a clinic against the Raptors

Tom Giles, Eddie House, and Brian Scalabrine talk about big nights from both Jayson Tatum and Sam Hauser. Hauser led the Celtics in scoring with 26, and he notched his first, second and third dunk in the NBA, all tonight. They talk about how Jayson Tatum officially became the first Celtic in NBA history to average 30+ points per game for a season. In this game, the Celtics were also the first team to shoot 81% or better from two and the first team to shoot 100% from two in a half.

  1. Now time our BENCH play our last game in the Regular season, need rest Tatum, White, Smart, Horford, Grant & Robert Williams III for playoffs 🔥💪🔥

  2. Brad does his homework when it comes to assembling a team. He getting all snipers 😂. Anyone can get hot at any moment from 3, that’s what makes us so dangerous. The one person who can’t shoot on this team is Robert Williams, but hes a paint beast and defends well. Everyone else a sniper

  3. Tatum was really good tonight. He was confident, aggressive and locked in. Robert Williams is the heart and soul of the defense. He is spectacular! Houser is deadly from the 3 and can't leave him open. Peyton Prichard IS A BALLER!! Wow!!! 🔥D. White does what he does every night defensively and offensively. And the rest of the guys were also locked in and it made it easier for everyone to play with that physical mental dominance all over. Celtics going to needs this plus more going forward. ☘️❤

  4. Good achievement for Tatum. He also grabbed a lot of boards and boosted his assists numbers.
On a side note: Bird shot over 50%/40%/90% to average his 29.9 ppg, 9+ boards and 6+ assists.
Tatum is great, an all NBA player already. Celtics are fortunate to have him…. but lets put some context around those ppg averages.
