Come on now. Even Michael Jordan has horrible lowlights. I get waiving him but probably no need to add insult to injury.

I understand it’s intriguing to watch a 7’2” guy that can dribble and shoot 3s, my problem is that’s all they do…you take Bol and mo Bamba, you big as hell and you park at the 3 point line and don’t go in for rebound. You try to take the ball full court and lose control. I still think you should have a center that stay inside and you can iso Paolo and have the center go close to the 3 point line, and if Paolo pass it out to him, he can shoot a 3. Big center should stay close to the rim…
I wish reddit was able to have a reasonable and nuanced discussion on bol because he’s a very interesting player but I know better than to expect that from reddit at this point. I loved having bol here and really enjoyed watching him play but I understand why they cut him, he’s still very raw and that’s not even to mention his perceived makeup issues. Being uncoachable with poor defensive chops and a low revving motor is a tough combo to work with, but he’s so gifted offensively. I don’t doubt the magic staff tried to get through to him last year but they don’t really have time to dedicate a roster spot to a project like bol anymore. best of luck to him and if you’re reading this bol stop hanging out with ian connor you fuckin dingus!!!!!
