In the end if you look at what the players did the big men handled the not all from top of the three to paint 😂. That’s not there role. Scottie took shots he will see as a point guard he did not go to easy buckets that are dunks etc and back to the basket. Those will be there especially in mismatches he is working on jumpers and pull-ups. He won’t make as many but watch his defence in the five on fives and the misses people have with Scottie on them. Those lead to fast breaks which he thrives. Anyone worried is tripping. Yes it would be nice to see duckets but his five on five is fine
I wrote I was not going to come back to this site which I am sure many would prefer, but I do like this guys enthusiasm misguided or not. To you groupies Barnes has done nothing yet. His ROTY was not necessarily deserved as he played way more minutes than others. I hope I am wrong, but he is at the precipice of going either way. I hope I am wrong, but I think he is not going to develop much beyond what he has so far. He lacks the desire to win at all costs so he simply won't at least as a first option.
I actually am surprised Scottie looks this good. The only thing I see is his mid-range not falling, and it's not going to magically appear in year 3. He's still going to have to work on it daily , non stop, to get it at a great level. His handles look tighter.

I actually love that Siakam deal
1. Scottie is in good hands. Darko will develop him and his shooting. Giannis didn’t get a proper shot until 2018 if you ask me. Darko is a player development coach and I’m very excited to see what he does with Barnes.
2. JVL is a shooting guard and will get developed even more buy Darko.
3. I would do the Miami trade in a heartbeat, Only thing I change is replace Lowry with Hero. Hero to me is overrated. Those 2028 and 2030 picks could be high picks since Butler will be gone and Miami likely goes into rebuild more. I’m very high on Jovic, I think the kid is super talented plus him and Darko got that Serbian connection. This trade also good for Pascal as he becomes a 2nd option we’re he thrives the most behind Butler. Miami is in a win now mode so wouldn’t be surprised if the trade actually happens.
